Incredible w/ only minor flaws

Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 80 Ohm Over-Ear Studio Headphones in Gray. Enclosed Design, Wired for Professional Recording and Monitoring (Closed)
Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 80 Ohm Over-Ear Studio Headphones in Gray. Enclosed Design, Wired for Professional Recording and Monitoring (Closed)

Pros: Theyve easily stood the test of time and continue to be amazing headphones for basically any application. Ive personally used the DT990 Pros for the better part of a year now, and just recently grabbed a pair of DT770 Pros. The sound staging for music is incredible and the experience of a gaming headset doesnt even compare. I have them both paired with a SoundblasterX G6 gaming dac that works great for both music and gaming if you really want to crank up the bass or change audio profile for gaming. The headphones are also super comfy to wear and make long gaming sessions (6 hours+) sweat and headache free. The ear pads and headband are easily replaceable if they ever wear out or the foam gets too thin. I would easily recommend both the 990 and 770 model to anybody wanting to get into music listening, mixing, or just wanting to up their gaming experience.

Cons: The package does come with a few cons, mainly just with the overall design. The velour pads are super comfortable, but as many people find, they are hard to clean especially if you sweat a lot. Also it took only about a year of near-daily use for them to compress to about half their original width. The round shape of the headphones does also cause a bit of sound bleed if you have an angular skull behind your ears, or have bigger ears in general. I have both of these things, so I get a bit of an open area in the bottom back of the ear pads that forces me to move my headphones forward on my head. I would recommend getting replacement ear-pads for these, both for improved sound quality, and even better feel. Theres a full comprehensive list by Z_Reviews on YouTube of every Beyerdynamic earpad that Dekoni (the leader of earpad design) sells, tried with multiple different DT Series headphones. Other minor issue is the cord. The lack of a detachable cord isnt that big of a deal, but it would be nice to just be given a cable extender rather than a 3 meter long cable on the 80 ohm versions, and a heavy coiled one on the 250 ohm versions. And thats not a joke, I measured it. Every 80 ohm version of these comes with a cable long enough to let me walk to the opposite wall of the office from my desk. It works fine for desk setups and studios, but it would be nice to at least be able to change to a shorter cable if I wanted to take the headphones portably. Theres people online that will mod a detachable cable onto these, but it seems like it wouldnt be that hard for Beyerdynamic to just slap an auxiliary jack onto them and let me use a shorter cable if I wish. Again, not that big of a deal if you only ever plan to use them at your desk, but a 3 meter cable or a super heavy coiled cable is hell if you ever plan to use them portably. Last minor issue just for music listeners. These headphones do have a considerable amount of sibilance, meaning that S sounds, scratches, or high synth music is painful to listen to sometimes. Certain kinds of electronic music can be hard to listen to because the lead synth or distortion sounds become really strong and grainy.

Overall Review: Summary time: -Crystal clear sound for music listening and mixing. -An amazing experience for gaming. -Super comfortable and breathable for long sessions. -Only minor fitting issues for certain head shapes that can be easily solved with ear pads. -Cables are high quality but really long and cumbersome, so not great portably. -Minor sibilance issues with some music, but still survivable I would easily give these to somebody over a similarly priced gaming headset, or to anybody thats new to music listening.

It works I guess.

ARESGAME 750W Power Supply Semi Modular 80+ Bronze PSU (AGV750)

Overall Review: You get what you paid for, only real issue that brings the overall package way down for me is that the 8pin CPU plug doesnt even reach all the way to the plug on the motherboard, forcing you to use the 4+4pin instead.

Works fine but very frustrating to work with for how much it cost. Pictures included to demonstrate issues

Pros: -Was delivered reasonably quick and came undamaged -Looks great overall

Cons: -Basically all the problems with the case lie in actually constructing the PC

Overall Review: I put together a relatively simple and effective PC build for my girlfriend, but had way more stress dealing with the quirks of this PC case than I ever did with a case that cost half as much. Heres the main list of issues that I had when constructing, all of which were possible to work around but were still very frustrating when doing so. -Too little space for whats advertised. The case advertises space for 2 140mm fans on the top slots above the motherboard. The case came shipped with the top (120mm) fans located in a position that made it impossible to fit a motherboard. A trivial issue as the case offers 2 sets of positions for 120mm fans and they have space to move forward and back. However, this means it would be impossible to fit 140mm fans in this case as they would have to fit in the original position that did not leave enough clearance for the motherboard. False advertisement. -Poorly placed cable management openings. The slots located around the motherboard space are located in a fashion that forces you to awkwardly manipulate some cables to plug into the motherboard. Mainly the ones for USB ports at the bottom of the motherboard as well as the case interfacing plugs. The biggest offender however is the incredibly small space in the top left of the case that youre required to fit the CPU power plug through. There is hardly enough space to even fit the plug through, and its located in a manner that you have to jam your hand into an incredibly tight space to grab the plug and plug it in. -Not all the motherboard standoffs came installed and the extra ones supplied were nearly impossible to put in -The screws supplied for the HDD holder are not sized properly and cause the HDD to flop around. Not really an issue while its in the case, but still annoying. -Cables feel cheap and look unattractive with exposed, multi-colored wires near the plugs that go to the motherboard. They also are way too short/long for their purposes, causing a giant rats nest of cords in the PSU/HDD area. Very hard to look past when it kind of destroys any cleanliness or consistency you would have been going for. -Some cases made by this company come with a music integration feature of sorts. This one does not, but it still shows a huge HD Audio plate on the top with the buttons that serves no purpose and doesnt even light up or anything. Overall, its not terrible and the cost basically just comes from the fact that the fans are ARGB. Though for this much money I would just have bought a better overall case for less and then slapped some ARGB fans into it.
