Amazing- especially at the price

Pros: Fast, good quality, inexpensive
Cons: None yet
Overall Review: I love this thing- I'll probably get one or two more for other machines and applications. I only have USB 2 on my PC, but I plugged in a 750GB drive that had been in an external enclosure that failed. It transfers at 30MB/s according to DiskBench (file create mode). I am using an old 2-core socket 775 machine with no overclocking or anything- just stock (and reliable). That's pretty fast for this setup, and exceeds my needs by a wide margin. I am pleasantly surprised. I used to avoid Rosewill because I assumed it was kinda' cheap stuff. I needed a router and got a Rosewill sale, then I got a Raspberty Pi and bought a Rosewill Wi-Fi adapter (and found drivers for it), then I got this. So far I am impressed by the stuff they make. It has a big piece of metal (it seems) to weigh it down so it doesn't tip or move when you touch the drive. That rattles when you shake it- but I don't need to shake it, so it's not a problem- but the added heft is a real plus.
A little faster

Pros: I don't care too much about the performance of this drive, bought it for the sale price. It's a good thing. The Fire Cuda is about 37/47% faster on sequential R/W (respectively) than the WD 3TB 3.5" 5400 RPM drive in my USB 3.0 dock which it shares. But it's MUCH MUCH slower on random writes than the OLD WD Blue. It's just to be used for occasional backups. I also compared it to the SATA-connected 7200 RPM 2TB WD Black in my machine. The Fire Cuda is a tiny bit faster on sequential writes, but significantly slower everywhere else. So consider the "Fastest HDD" claim as puffery. BUT- the 5-year warranty at this price point is outstanding. If this things lasts, I will consider it a good purchase.
Cons: Not fast at all.
Overall Review: For the occasional backups I purchased it to do, it should be fine. I can wait for those to finish in the background. But I'd never put this in a machine as a primary drive (or even put it in a machine at all)- it's in a USB dock.
Not a cheap toy

Pros: I bought this for survellance. I is small, and has a couple buttons- it's up to you to figure out what they do. You ca read the manual but going to China will be much clearer. It comes in a plastic bag, which the police will asume means you're ready to dicard the contnets. You'll have to stop them when they tell you that they only let this stuff out of the country. They have a point-it's shipped in a little throw-away bag. There are status LEDs (blue/green) visible from the front and back of the very cloudy and wavy viewfinder (useless for composing shots). You have to fidure out what they mean. The viedo AVI files grow so fast that a 8GB card will pabably get ony a couple hour, of video. I drilled tiny hole above the viewfinder and on into the front cloudy plastic of it. This allows som sound to get near the mic, which is dropped at the side (actually the top edge) of the circuit board. SO it is semi intelligible. The video is not bad, but it diesn't work well in low light, doesn't work well in room lightinh. On a bright day, it would help make sure people don't empty the pool or steal the patio furniture.
Cons: It's of more use to a thief than it is to me.
Overall Review: Accept the plastic bag as gift wrapping for your trash can.
Amazing inexpensive fan

Pros: I'm impressed! I've designed quite a bit of electronic equipment in the last quarter-century, and got a couple of these for some basic projects. I will certainly buy more. I doubt that, if you need an 80mm fan, you could go wrong with this. Plus Newegg is still pretty great!
Cons: NONE
Overall Review: I'll buy more of these
Pro quality- inexpensive

Pros: Pro quality cable- beefy construction, secure cable ends, solid connectors, inexpensive. 6 feet long.
Cons: No cons
Overall Review: I paid 4.49 for this, one of three cables (I think it was the least expensive). It's the nicest of the three by a comfortable margin. It was neatly packaged in a branded heavy-duty zip bag, and came with the plastic caps on the ends. The other cables weren't packaged as professionally. It looks to me like Fosmon takes pride in their products!
I am mistaken

Pros: Cheap
Cons: Cheap
Overall Review: I wrote the previous reviews (guy in AZ) after I had tried this with a brand new Hardkernel XU board. A nifty small PC from South Korea with an 8-core processor. It turns out that the connector on that board is bad. I bought two different cables and they acted the same- so I trashed this without good reason and gave it unnecessarily harsh reviews it didn't deserve. It is not nearly a pro cable, but in all likelihood, the cable was working fine. I don't think I'd buy it again- but NewEgg refunded the purchase price, whereas Hardkernel wants me to pay to ship back their board that they never should've shipped me. Shipping from AZ to Korea ain't cheap! I'm going to try to get Newegg to remove my wrong reviews of this cable.
Bye Newegg- you were once great
I bought a TV mount. Paid for it, it arrived and the box described the mouting holes differently than newegg.com. I needed VESA 400x400. I checked on other sites, they agreed with the box. I called Newegg, I resisted your CSRs insitence that I open the box to check. She obviously didn't understand what I was talking about, so now you have to sell as used instead of new/unopened box. She told me they had to wait for the RMA to refund my money. I bought another one on Newegg, and paid too much. I cancelled within 90 minutes. Long story short- I had to wait two weeks to get my refunds. Both came at the same time, despite Emails and assurances that my refund would come within 3-5 days of the RMA being received. After 4 days, I received other emails instead promising a refund in 3-5 days. A lot of your 3rd party vendors are jokes. Get rid of them. Remember how you came this far, and fix it. Maybe you can still get some new customers. I know that some of your competitors are.
