Better than I thought

ZALMAN CNPS8700 2 Ball CPU Cooler
ZALMAN CNPS8700 2 Ball CPU Cooler

Pros: I just built a new computer and got the Core 2 Duo 3.0 CPU, remembering my last CPU (which was a 3.4 Pentium 4) that ran hot I decided to disguard the stock heatsink and buy a good one. Being skeptical about the new upright style I stuck with Zalman's classic style, just newer model. Boy does this thing keep it cool. After running CoD:WaW for a few hours my CPU was only at 32C. I don't think i've ever seen it approach 40C.

Cons: Probably lots of people say this, but it is bigger than I thought, and double checking measurements before purchase is a good idea. Full Tower cases are probably a good idea. Not really a con, but I wish the RPM would go up higher for more cooling, 2800RPM like the CNPS9700. Because unlike some of you namby pamby babies I don't mind a little noise to reassure my CPU is staying in Maine for the summer, not Nevada.

Overall Review: I would definatly recommend it to anyone and I will buy one again for another computer I might be putting together with a Core 2 Quad 3.0.

Pros: Reads and writes lots of stuff.

Cons: On my computer it doesn't read discs i put in sometimes, which i don't understand. I've double checked slave/master settings, connections and what not...so i'm not sure whats going on there. Some kind of compatibility problem with vista 64 bit...who knows. However, my other multimedia drive (LITE-ON Black 16X DVD-ROM 52X CD-R 32X CD-RW 52X CD-ROM) works just fine...

Overall Review: Nice when works.

Great Fan

ZALMAN CNPS8700 2 Ball CPU Cooler
ZALMAN CNPS8700 2 Ball CPU Cooler

Pros: Long lasting. Adjustable speed. Keeps Things cool. My cpu never goes above 40C even after running games and loading for long periods of time. Seems to generate enough air flow to keep memory and motherboard at lower temps too.

Cons: Not sure if there is one.

Overall Review: Like this fan so much that it makes me not want to switch to the standing upright fans. If your going to get a sit in cpu fan this is the one to have. I will probably order another one just to have a backup or a new one for another computer down the line before they stop making them.

Better Than Expected

ASUS GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card EN9800GTX+ DK/HTDI/512M
ASUS GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card EN9800GTX+ DK/HTDI/512M

Pros: I just built a new computer and this is my first nvidia card. I'm quite impressed. Nearly triples my old ATI x1650pro performance. I run every game on top settings with no problems, even in widescreen, WoW, LOTRO, CoD:WaW, Crysis. Great card, actually feel like you get your money's worth.

Cons: Its longer than you expect, might want to check on measurements if not using a full tower case. It fit in my midtower quite snug.

Overall Review: Will remain a nvidia consumer, and might actually check out one of those new GTX 200 series soon.

Good for Price

Rosewill R218-P-BK Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Rosewill R218-P-BK Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Great case for the price. I turned the side vent into a 80mm fan, works great. Overall great case flow. I don't think i've ever seen my temps go to 40c, even after playing games for awhile.

Cons: The side slide door is kinda a pain to get back on and just a smige flimsy, but I really don't mind.

Overall Review: Well worth the money if your not looking for anything fancy and good case flow.

Good Quality Mouse

Logitech MX310 6 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB or PS/2 Wired Optical Mouse
Logitech MX310 6 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB or PS/2 Wired Optical Mouse

Pros: I've had this mouse for 2 or 3 years now, I can't even remember it has been so long :-), but it still works like I just got it. Fits pretty comfortable in my hand. For the price too, its a great mouse, very reliable.

Cons: It might not be one of the latest high end dpi mouses, but it does what its suppose to do quite well and would be good for someone who is on their computer all the time and still want a good mouse.

Overall Review: I game alot and it works flawlessly very durable and long lasting. Make sure you install the driver that goes with the mouse, it works much better and has more options to customize the way you want the mouse to feel and glide! I actually want to get a new mouse, but I'm so used to this one i don't know if i should try a switch its quite comfortable and i defiantly got my moneys worth.
