Overall Review: Would highly recommend this. Considered Lian Li but decided on Fractal Designs based on reviews.

Cons: Bios can be a little flaky, especially memory settings VERY picky about memory. Many of the memory listed on the QVL list are no longer available.

Overall Review: Frustrating to build a rig with this board. Memory compatibility is the biggest issue. Bought Corsair Vengeance RAM but could not get it to work and after posting to Gigabyte support found out it was not on their QVL list. Next bought Ballistix RAM that I thought was on the QVL but then was told that it was only tested with 1 stick not 2. Does not even show up as supporting XMP in the Bios even though it says that the RAM supports XMP 2.0 Spent some time checking RAM on the QVL (was looking for 16GB dual channel) and found neither Newegg nor other online sites carries the majority of the RAM listed (for 16GB dual channel). This was my first build using Gigabyte but so far I do not feel I can recommend this board.

Pros: 16GB if it would have worked.

Cons: Have ordered two other Ripjaw X sets before (2x4GB set for 8GB and 4x4GB set for 16GB) for my two systems. Those worked great so was looking forward to upgrading my one system from 8GB to 16GB. Installed the new sticks and within 5 minutes system crashed. Removed two of the sticks and system was stable. Replace those two with the two removed and system crashed within 3-5 minutes. Very disappointed that I need to RMA.

Overall Review: First time I have bought from Newegg and had to RMA the item. I guess I have been fortunate in the past.
