SAMSUNG Ultrabook Series 9 Intel Core i7-3537U 4GB Memory 128 GB SSD Intel HD Graphics 4000 13.3" Non-Touch Screen Windows 8 64-bit NP900X3E-A02US

Pros: This thing is seriously fast. It boots from being powered off in about 5 seconds and from hibernation in 2. I waited on this model for the 1920x1080 screen and it was worth it.

Cons: None.

Most Critical Review

The worst card and company for raid I have seen

HighPoint RocketRAID 620 PCI-Express 2.0 x1 SATA III (6.0Gb/s) Controller Card
HighPoint RocketRAID 620 PCI-Express 2.0 x1 SATA III (6.0Gb/s) Controller Card

Pros: None

Cons: Oh where to start.... I am a sysadmin at a hosting company and deal with several raid cards and this is by far the worst and I have seen some issues.. I guess you get what you pay for.. 1. buggy with WD blue drives. Blamed the drives at first but after trying multiple its the card. 2. drops arrays for just about any reason and 'screams' at you with its alarm. Yes. you can disable it but come on. 3. In windows 7 if it does not like your drive config it not only screams but cripples the system, "system was not on the raid drives". 4. Total lack of Linux support, sure they have drivers, but at newest Fedora 12. They are on 15 now so keep up! I could not install these to 15 nor compile them to my version/kernel.

Overall Review: A good RAID card is going to be pricey. 3ware is the most dependable and LSI is most expansive but still buggy "can drop entire arrays/enclosures" but improving. "3ware is now owned by LSI." My advice is if you really want a RAID config either fork over the cash for a 3ware or upgrade your machine as most new MB have on board RAID. But at least avoid this card.

Worked good for a little while

SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Bay Hub+Host Kit
SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Bay Hub+Host Kit

Pros: Its USB 3.0, great access from the front panel.

Cons: This device seems to have some big power issues. This is exactly what I needed so I took a chance as it had 4 eggs. Well now reading the reviews I see I am not the only one with power issues. I has power surge issues and would sometimes freeze with lights on until a system reboot and eventually just fried. Not sure I even want to waste time getting it RMA'd through the Man.

Junk

ASRock P45X3 Deluxe LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASRock P45X3 Deluxe LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Probably if it would not continuously power-cycle. I read about all the overclocking and bios features too bad I cannot get to them.

Cons: I am really disappointed I did not read the reviews on this mobo cause I am having the same issue as most of the others. It continuously reboots. I have tried everything but still have the same problem.

Overall Review: Pretty bad when more then 50 % of the reviews had problems with continuous reboots. Doubt I will buy ASRock again.
