Pros: 1. Read and write very fast 2. Soundless

Cons: 1. Does not exactly fit with the existing slot in my inspiron 6400(but may fit for urs). The port will fit fine.So works well. But overall size is little bit smaller than the slot.

Overall Review: Just bought one week ago. Dont update the firmware from Sony site. It will kill the burner. Its also mentioned by Sony that updated firmware may not be compatable with certain laptops. The existing Sonic came with my I6400 does not work with this burner. I had to install Nero7. But then it works very fine.
