Good board but there are issues with 10th Gen CPU

ASRock B560M PRO4 LGA 1200 Intel B560 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
ASRock B560M PRO4 LGA 1200 Intel B560 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Latest tech mobo with good mix of features.

Cons: The top M.2 slot won't work with a 10th Gen cpu installed which is ridiculous. Newegg's info on the product page is somewhat misleading in that it makes you think that you need an 11th gen CPU in order to run a Gen 4 M.2. I would have ordered a different board if I knew one of the m.2 slots would be useless to me. Really makes no sense that you can't run any M.2 SSD without a certain CPU.

Overall Review: Overall a decent board but the limit on one of the M.2 slots is a fatal blow that needs to be corrected with a BIOS update

Not a good product and support is equally bad

SK hynix SL308 2.5" 250GB SATA III TLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) HFS250G32TND-N1A2A
SK hynix SL308 2.5" 250GB SATA III TLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) HFS250G32TND-N1A2A

Pros: Worked for about 3 months.

Cons: Suddenly could not be read by my PC. I reinstalled the OS but upon boot up, I got the same message about not being able to read from the ssd.

Overall Review: This is the first ssd I've owned that failed in such a short time. Newegg's short warranty time frame means I have to go to the makers website and the support link on Newegg is not working. Contacted the maker via a different link on their main site but all they told me was to contact Newegg. Just getting the runaround with this company. Would not recommend their products not pleased with Newegg's warranty on SSDs which should be longer.

Drive seems to have issues

Kingston HyperX 3K 2.5" 90GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (Stand-Alone Drive) SH103S3/90G
Kingston HyperX 3K 2.5" 90GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (Stand-Alone Drive) SH103S3/90G

Pros: Nice price and the MIR makes it better.

Cons: Performance not where it was expected and degraded by 33% in benches like Crystal Disk Mark in one week.

Overall Review: This drive should perform better than it has been and have not been able to explain the sudden drop in performance and the Kingston toolkit reporting that there are no Sandforce drives in my system! Did not know there was a no refund policy on SSDs at Newegg or would not have bought this drive in lieu of the Samsumg 830 64GB model I was also considering. Newegg customer service was quite unsatisfactory with the rep repeatedly quoting their policy and only offering me a replacement of the same drive. Contacted Kingston for help and sent them the info they requested but don't feel like I'm really being listened to as a customer either.
