Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS SB0350

Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS SB0350 5.1 Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Interface Sound Card
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS SB0350 5.1 Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Interface Sound Card

Pros: Purchased 2 of these. 1 for a pc that needed a replacement and 1 for a backup. Both worked flawlessly upon receiving. Be advised that Creative DOES NOT support or provide Drivers for ANY operating system newer than Windows 7 for this product. It does work just fine for Windows 7, Windows XP, and Vista. The Drivers are available for Windows 7 from Creatives web site and contrary to other reviewers, does work just fine.

Cons: Packaging: Should be stated in the description that the ONLY things included is the Sound Card and an Original Creative Drivers CD that support Operating Systems up to Windows XP. For Windows 7, you will have to go to Creatives Support Web Site to download.

Overall Review: PCI interface. Most Newer motherboards don't have PCI slots. So make sure the motherboard you are going to install this to has a PCI slot.

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit

Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit
Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit

Pros: Worked for and lived Microsoft from 1981 through 2009, but when Windows 7 was released, and I saw a move away from good tight Kernel coding. Now every release of Windows since is even more resource latent and performs less and less responsively. DX11.

Cons: Not a big fan of companies that create software products with massive overheads, resource hogging, bad engineered functionality such as the changes Microsoft made to Windows Update for Windows 7 causing Windows 7 Update to run for tens of hours if not days(as in my case) just to get the updates and all awhile the update is running, causing the CPU to maintain a 12 to 14 percent CPU Load at all times with a Resource Que over 100% while the update is running. Once the Windows 7 Update has completed, finally the CPU Load returns to 0% and the Resource Que returns to approximately 38 to 40%. Microsoft is no longer a company taking the time to develop good operating systems. They instead choose to attempt to make a single OS that is a general to all devices. Cannot be done and be good for PC's, Tablets, Notebooks, Laptops, Phones, and other supported devices. Each platform has different coding requirements to take advantage of each device's capabilities. It cannot be lumped into a single OS properly.

Overall Review: In regards to the new packaging Microsoft uses for this release of Windows 7 OEM, specifically, the covered COA sticker, my advice and worked wonderfully for me was to simply rub with your fingers skin, not scratch the COA with your fingernail.

Works well in older PCIE 2.0 setups without UEFI BIOS

SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 480 8GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Graphics Card 100406NT+8GOCL

Pros: Thermal Sensor circuitry works extremely well regulating Diode and VRM temps. My temps have never exceeded 68C while under 95% load. But I have an ANTEC Twelve Hundred case with 6 - 120mm case fans and water cooled CPU. At Idle my temp is 28 to 32C with power settings enabled. Fans will ONLY power on if Diode temp exceeds approx 63C regardless whether you have enabled Manual AMD Global WATTMAN settings versus Auto. I discovered however that if you enabled Manual AMD Global WATTMAN and set your Fans RPM manually, when the temp approaches the threshold the fans come on, they will spin at the manually selected RPM instead of the Auto RPM. I suspect the Thermal Sensor circuitry on the card over the Driver as I have 2 other R7-370's that when I set manual settings for Fans, they come on at the selected RPM immediately and are static at that RPM. Not so with this card. This card works extremely well with older PCIE 2.0 Asus motherboards, namely the P7F-E, P7P55 WS, and the P7F7-E WS. All circa 2009 and Intel i3420 or i3450 chipsets with Xeon x3470 CPU's. I cannot speak to compatibility with other manufacturers older motherboards. 1 - 8pin power connector is a major plus for me. Runs TES5 Skyrim and Witcher 3 at Ultra settings at about 55-60 fps.

Cons: None at this time. If you have a compact case, you may run into size and heat issues. Airflow is paramount in helping keep this cool.

Overall Review: Have 3 of these running in Windows 7 x64 Pro on the above mentioned motherboards. Oldest RX-480 being 10 months. Without any problems whatsoever. I am however concerned with the logic for the card's Thermal Sensor circuitry as programmed. When you use AMD's WATTMAN settings in Manual mode, anything you set should be enabled immediately including the Fans. When you Override the cards settings, Sapphire needs to reprogram the BIOS to immediately set and activate those settings. Not when the Thermal Sensor Circuitry deems it necessary.

Pros: Bought 4 for a RAID and all have Warranty from Intel until 11-26-2016. Slightly better than the listed 90 Days. Intel's SSD Toolbox shows all 4 have 90+ % Life Remaining! After running a series of 'Wipe' and 'Verify' on all 4 SSD's individually, none failed with zero errors. Highest hours used out of the 4 SSD's received showed approximately 82,000 hours of use. Not bad considering these have a 1,2000,000 MTBF rating. At the current price of $39.95 each (08-2016) and even though these are Intel's Series 320 SSD's (SATA II - 270MB Max Read and 165MB Max Write), these are still a good investment especially if you are trying to bring some life back into some 'older' PC's, notebook's, or laptop's. Newegg's shipping Dept did a great job this time! Each SSD was individually packaged within an anti-static bag within an anti-static bubble drive protector within a cardboard drive box inside a larger shipping box. Good Job!!!

Cons: None at this time.

Overall Review: These are for the bare SSD's only. No cables or mounting brackets are included in case you need them.
