upgrade from G network
Pros: This was an easy upgrade for an old wireless G router. I like the open source DD-WRT software that was preloaded. I am still able to remotely connect to all my existing networked devices and port forwarding was easy to configure for all the gamers in our house. Gigabit LAN was a benefit for my newer devices that supported it.
Cons: USB external on the router will not accept USB memory sticks, only self powered external HDD Drives. Uses scripts to boot USB and Linux file system makes this not so easy for just anybody to configure.
Overall Review: It is running an Atheros AR9132 rev 2 (0xb9) 400Mhz CPU with 32MB Flash ROM and 64MB of RAM. The factory software does not allow overclock. Flashing to a different ROM may allow this, but i recommend you [do not] unless you know how to unbrick your router! I could see this possibly having an overheat issue since I see no decent inlet outlets for convection heat to escape. I opened it up to find 2 aluminum heatsinks for most of the board, and left it open. Overheating won't be an issue for me with heavy use, but be aware if you're going to tuck it in a corner all closed in and unventilated. Electronics will heat up and kill themselves if you let them!
it's a toy.
Pros: It plugs into USB and works. It is capable of taking an image. at 0.1 MP. It is aesthetically appealing. I got it because it was free shipping and very very very cheap.
Cons: 0.1 MP is about the quality of lower end toy cameras. This has the resolution of a toy. It will NOT go higher than 5 fps in settings no matter what. Most cell phones have a better image quality than this has. This is not just an opinion.
Overall Review: HP should be ashamed to have their logo on this box as well as ploy advertising.
Works great for my purposes
Pros: I needed this to fit in an m720q tiny, and it does with the lid off. It works with the 170W power brick for me on latest Windows 11 with full use of the drivers , AI, CUDA, and the NVENC capabilites
Cons: my m720q tiny did not allow me to use resizeable bar but this still fully works for me
Overall Review: I had to to get into the Nvidia software to activate higher bit color on my Gigabyte m32Q other than standard 8bit color. If you like Nvidia and need Nvenc / AI / Cuda this is a great deal for SFF PCs that do not need a separate power adapter. It works, though I had to order the riser card for it to adapt to the MB first =)
Excellent entry to Dolby Atmos/DTS:X
Pros: Dolby Atmos DTS:X HDCP 2.2 HDMI 2.0 HDR pass through all open top slats for heat to escape better wifi and ethernet connections for streaming updates are frequent and seem to help with any CEC handshake issues
Cons: It gets somewhat finicky with all HDMI CEC enabled with my Samsung tv and Apple Tv connected to this. Updates could fix auto turn on issues, otherwise Dolby pass through from my Apple TV 4k through this to my QLED works well. Atmos passes through. Good sound for small to medium rooms but with a large room you may want more power
Overall Review: I would recommend this to anyone wanting to upgrade from their existing 5.1 or to new folks who want Atmos for their smallish room. Speaker load settings only offer 4 or 6 ohm load, so match your speakers up well when buying. You have plenty of options in the settings to choose where your ceiling or rear height speakers are in setup and it has an included mic to calibrate the system
everything I was expecting
Pros: I feel that this was exactly as described in the product description. It works as it should as an entry level headphone tube amplifier. Using RCA or headphone jack for input both worked just fine and I get no interference in the sound
Cons: No current cons
Overall Review: I do recommend this if you need more juice for under powered headphones. I was able to roll different tubes in it as well for a different sound
Used in dash cam
Pros: Works like it should so far. Fast enough
Cons: No color options? No cons really
Overall Review: I would recommend for a dash cam like I used it for. It just works
Works for my needs
I needed a high speed USB version of an Wifi6 adapter and this fit my needs. Works for all 7 of the computers i've tried it on, and different OS.
Pleasant Experience
What was advertised was delivered and works fine.
I NEVER RECEIVED MY PURCHASE
I ordered this from Newegg as a Marketplace deal. It's been 22 days and I have received no product, therefore I cannot review my purchase. I will however leave this rating and review.
