It does not come with speakers. Also, in the settings there are options for 4 or 6 ohm speakers for when you are buying separate speakers to use with this

Can I wire speakers to this (no special connectors. Raw wires)? I have speakers, subwoofer all ready to hook up. No Bluetooth.

Hi,
Yes, you can just connect bare wire. The channel connector ends have a cap that twist open, exposing a spot to connect too. Then tighten to hold it.

Has anyone tried to use a PC as an HDMI source (input) and if so can you get 5.1 audio thru Netfilx etc?

Yes. Netflix on a browser (used Chrome) does not output anything but stereo it seems. The Win10 Netflix app does output DD+ with 5.1. As far as Windows in general, the Pioneer will get a PCM signal, just need to set your speaker config in Windows for multichannel. If you are playing a BD/DVD with something like VLC, the Pioneer will get the appropriate audio codec if your video card supports bitstream audio.

Question 4

Having a weird Apple TV issue. When Atmos is on, any types of videos will keep flashing white. Does anyone have apple tv 4k connected to this? if so, when atmos is on does this happen?

Makes no sense as Atmos is an audio codec not a video codec and shouldn’t effect video output at all. How are you trying to play your videos? Via apps? Via airplay from your mobile device?

Are you saying Atmos but really mean Dolby Vision which is a video HDR codec?

You need to eliminate some stuff going on, probably, to really narrow down and troubleshoot what’s really going on here.

Question 5

How do I change the ohms? It only is offering 4 and 6 ohms. Sounds bad! It also only sees my speakers as small, how do I change this?

Hit the home button, go to system setup, select speaker then configuration this will let you pick speaker size for all speakers and I believe this is also where you find the settings for impedance. Somewhere in these menus is how you do all of your setups. If you use initial setup it will walk you through setting up your system. MCACC allows you to use the provided microphone to tune the sound to fit your room. Hope this helps.
