My Dog Ate It (really)

Pros: This drive is tough. The UPS guy left the package outside where my two dogs got to it. I found the dogs fighting over the drive. There were indentations to the exterior metal shell, but otherwise the other parts took the abuse OK. I plugged the thing into my Mac Mini & to my amazement the thing still works! Ran drive diagnostics & everything is OK so far.
Cons: The UPS guy that dropped the box inside my yard without ringing the doorbell.
If you are going to spend this much...

Pros: It is big. Nice & bright at 1900 X 1200 resolution. Decent performance for just a shade over $1000.
Cons: Not as nice as the 30" version. For ~27% more in price ($1299), you can get ~87% more pixel resolution (2560X1600). If you are going to spend this much on the 275T, you might as well go all the way. Of course, you'll also need a new video card with dual-link DVI, but that's another matter...
Very cool, but a pain to install

Pros: Excellent mid-priced cooling solution per description in various reviews. Allows you to strap a second 120mm fan to push/pull air through fins. Virtually BOLTED to motherboard; will not come loose compared to stock Intel heatsink solution.
Cons: You need to take your motherboard out of the case to attach this thing. The nuts tying the screws has to be tightened from the underside of the motherboard. If you want to install a second fan, make sure you do it before bolting the heatsink. The screws holding the second fan can only be reach from the bottom.
