Asus VK278Q Black 27" 1920x1080 Full HD HDMI LED BackLight LCD Monitor w/Webcam 300 cd/m2 10,000,000 :1 (ASCR)
Asus VK278Q Black 27" 1920x1080 Full HD HDMI LED BackLight LCD Monitor w/Webcam 300 cd/m2 10,000,000 :1 (ASCR)

Pros: Big. Fast response, no ghosting. Games look really good. Speakers decently loud and stay at a good quality sound. (Obv not good enough for soundphiles, and hardcore gamers. I will be buying dedicated speakers soon, but these definitely do their job.)

Cons: Size is bigger than resolution based off the ppi. I had to set my GPU to a 15% overscale to fill the monitor with a 1920x1080 resolution. When the monitor goes to sleep, it is a giant blue screen for a moment, which has scared the **** out of me twice now. I was lying down, and saw it out of the corner of my eye, and got scared I got a BSOD.

Overall Review: Mess with the pixel format if you see any form of bleeding. That fixed the reds looking odd.

Crisp and clear

ASUS VH226H Black 21.5" HDMI Widescreen 16:9 Full HD 1080P LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 12000:1 (1000:1) Built in Speakers
ASUS VH226H Black 21.5" HDMI Widescreen 16:9 Full HD 1080P LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 12000:1 (1000:1) Built in Speakers

Pros: Clear Crisp Choice of input types Built in speakers Monitor snaps into base, no screws or anything needed Came with great color accuracy and brightness out of the box

Cons: It may just be illusion or the table it is sitting on, but it appears that the monitor is leaning to the right a bit. Have yet to take a level to it, but there is no way to adjust it.

Overall Review: If you are looking for a monitor in this price range, I would recommend ASUS, simply because all of their products have treated me well. From my mobo, DVD Drive, to two of their monitors, a third is on the way. [120hz 23"] It is a good choice for a budget gamer who wants vibrant and clear visuals, and wants to just disappear into the game. You won't notice any off colors, lack of crisp and clear edges, or dulled colors. For those that are just looking for a monitor for your computer that is daily use, this is also a good choice. It displays web pages with perfect color accuracy. I can view a full screen page, and the color remains uniform throughout the screen. This also indicates the viewing angle is decent. For an all around good monitor, this is a solid choice, and it won't do you wrong.

Amazing quality

GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Neat and simple packaging Straightforward BIOS DIMM slots didn't require Godzilla-like pressure. Sideways sata slots. Booted first try, works perfectly. Came installed with latest version of BIOS. Website laid out well to find chipset drivers among other necessary drivers.

Cons: None

Overall Review: I was surprised by the quality of this motherboard, especially after reading some of these reviews. It isn't for someone looking to push their CPU to the max, but it does have OC ability. I really can't find any reason to dock any points, it is a 10/10 imo. I have an ASUS Crosshair IV Formula, I bought this one for my brother, and I can say that I would still be happy with this mobo on my build.

Beautiful

NZXT Phantom PHAN-002OR Newegg Exclusive Black Finish w/Orange Trim Steel / Plastic Enthusiast ATX Full Tower Computer Case
NZXT Phantom PHAN-002OR Newegg Exclusive Black Finish w/Orange Trim Steel / Plastic Enthusiast ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Big/Roomy Awesome looking Lots of cable management ports Thumb screws galore Door on front is magnetized and opens and closes smoothly. Fan controller Good airflow

Cons: HDD trays are freaking impossible to put on and take off. The 5.25" bay locking mechanism feels like it could be cheap, just being cautious with it. No led's? The possibilities with lights on this case are endless.

Overall Review: The minor cons definitely don't even shadow the large list of pro's here. I definitely recommend this case.

Amazing mouse

Logitech Wireless Performance Mouse MX for PC and Mac, Large Mouse, Long Range Wireless Mouse
Logitech Wireless Performance Mouse MX for PC and Mac, Large Mouse, Long Range Wireless Mouse

Pros: Good tracking, no mouse lag. Adjustable DPI. Many, many options for buttons. Charges fast enough and isn't invasive when charging. Battery lasts a good long while. I use the zoom key has a hot key to switch DPI on the fly, so I can go from an FPS to an RTS with ease. Scrolling is nice. Fits my hand completely naturally.

Cons: Goes to sleep when not in use for a while, which means a lot of shaking before it turns back on, but whatever. Had to use the provided USB extender to keep mouse tracking PERFECTLY, but I suppose that is why they supplied it.

Decent speakers

Creative Inspire T3130 2.1 Speakers
Creative Inspire T3130 2.1 Speakers

Pros: Good range. As loud as you need and then some. Bass control and the volume unit is nice.

Cons: One speaker cuts out depending on how the cord is situated. It is a stationary computer, so that works out. A tiny bit crackly when turned up loud.
