Better than I expected
Pros: This is SKYPE compatible, clear pictures as long as you have stable/fast internet.
Cons: The stand for the notebook is cheap, it could be better.
cheap as is but does it's job for me
Pros: the sound is ok, i had lxxxtech gaming headphone and it cannot be compared. the fake wood finishing on the headset is nice
Cons: the sound quality is not as good as you would expect. and did i tell u when it arrived, the vol ctrl cover fell off leaving the chip naked? so i use electrical tape and made my own cover hahaha
Overall Review: anyone notice the headphone is fragile and it doesnt keep on ur head well?
Great Sub.. but..
Pros: Easy to setup using RCA input I used the Auto EQ off my receiver (RX-V573) and subwoofer was away from our listening position approx 7ft away. It was way off, it is better to tune your sound manually on subwoofer alone. Easy to tune this subwoofer with 2 dial 1. Frequency (30-120hz I think..) 1. Level (volume) Great sound for what I paid
Cons: Arrived with Grill BROKEN! Luckily Subwoofer was intact. I was put on hold with newegg for over 10mins... and still waiting... (2pm PST or so when i called) Fixed the broken grill by using solder pen to burn the plastic together. Took me about 10-15mins, not a big deal but definitely lost a star there. Bad: The Level dial is not sensitive, maybe it is just the 2 different movies are just different bass level when it was recorded in the studio. Basically you turn to 50% is perfect for 1 movie, then you switch a different movie it is way too much bass. Another scenario is when you listen to regular music, from 40%-65% there is no increased bass. You would have to turn it up little more to feel it. Again, it might be the recording of the music, but it just annoys me that I have to turn it up and down manually each time I have to adjust. I wish there is a very simple remote for this subwoofer from Polk. Frequency Up + Down. Volume Up + Down. Box Design: Very cheap. I am thinking about opening it up and put polyfil in there to create a tighter bass or just shove it into the port... I like the tight bass, not lose bass.
Overall Review: My setup: Yamaha RX-V573 (2) JBL ES80 (front, bi-amped) (2) Infinity Primus P636 (Rear) (1) Center channel still researching :) (1) PSW505 POLK Running Monster speaker cables to get most efficient signal.
Pros: i got the sunbeam case and ordered this to match the blue LED on the back 120mm case fan. Let me tell you... my computer is blue all around, even my CPU. Great Airflow too but...look cons
Cons: it says its 77cfm, i dont think its that high. it did not come with any spd ctrl unit so i doubt 77cfm is true unless someone out there has a cfm test machine...
Overall Review: it cooling my entire computer really well. I just got it for the looks but the extra cooling is additional for my cpu fan. I used it as intake and revert my other case fan as exhaust so it is circulation flow :)
too good and will continue to buy
Pros: this should be my 5th or 6th one.... i lost count but its the best, i tried samsung, sony... no no. NEC is da best get it while its still on newegg. When burning/reading any discs, its loud in beginning then it is silent again. this is prob the best u can get out of US market for DVD burner
Cons: none
Overall Review: all the NEC i ordered are NOT DOA it is a 100% if i were to grade it's score
good case for its money
Pros: its great case with its styling on the outside the blue effect from the case fan on the inside is really cool at night
Cons: i wish the vent on the front of the case can spin!! impossible but possible if they create a more expensive case like this
Overall Review: sunbeam doesnt make their own stuff if u take a look closely at the case, its CASEGEAR but its ok they are prob partners anyway and the pwr is silent, the pwr supply has 20pin on the atx pwr adapter, not 24 (if ur using LGA775 m/b): some m/b u can just plug into the 20pin and its fine, **look into ur manual guys if u have Socket 775 m/b
