Overall Review: The screen is as advertised - smooth 240 Hz, adaptive sync, vibrant colors, deep blacks, no ghosting. Compared to my previous IPS monitor, I like OLED a bit more, but not as much more as I was expecting. Like everyone says, it looks slightly better when there is less ambient light. The main thing that caught me off guard was how much I like HDR. I have the monitor on the "peak 1000 nits" setting with Win11 AutoHDR and in scenes with sunlight reflecting it actually feels like the sun is shining on the monitor. Really impressive. HDR was an afterthought for me when I bought the monitor, but it ended up being the thing that I've noticed the most. In terms of cons, the main one that bothers me is that it sometimes fails to wake from sleep. I have to turn it off and then turn it on again. It would also be nice to be able to schedule the OLED care features. I would prefer to have it run every night at 2 AM or something. As it is, despite being on the 16 hr setting, it still sometimes starts a 10 minute panel protect cycle if I spend too long in the bathroom etc. You can cancel it, but it's still annoying. VRR flicker is heavy during loading screens, etc. but I haven't noticed it during actual gameplay yet. And finally, one thing that I found to be a big nothing-burger was text clarity. I read all sorts of posts about fringing and about how gen 1 QD-OLEDs were unusable for productivity. Maybe there is some panel lottery going on, but I literally can't tell the difference between text on this and my old IPS. Overall, I have had a positive experience with the monitor and recommend it if you can get it for a competitive price.
