Great Buy for the $$
Pros: Lots of VRAM, GDDR3, easily overclocked, dual DVI, single slot form factor, looks good.... ATi and SAPPHIRE are some of my favorite manufacturers for their reliability and stability. Cheap $$ after rebate! Fast 2-day UPS shipping! Runs UT3 on high at 1680x1050 on my 22"!
Cons: Graphics could be better, but for a budget card, I shouldn't be complaining. I'm gonna buy another for crossfire and see if that helps.
Overall Review: As another Newegg customer explained, when it comes to performance in computing, it all comes down to balance and component matching. Intel Core 2 Quad @ 3.2GHz 8Gb Dual Channel DDR2 800 (4x2Gb) SAPPHIRE/ATi Radeon 3850 512Mb 2x 150Gb Raptors in RAID0 2x 400Gb WD SATAII HDD's 950w PSU SATA 18x DVD+RW Old Skool Beige Case (Yeah, Baby!)
Good Product, Bad Seller
Pros: Great product, works as advertised, detects highway patrol before I can even see them.
Cons: Makes a loud, obnoxious chirping noise on power-up. Took 18 days to get to northern CA from FL.
Great Product
Pros: Good feature set (RAID, Crossfire, etc) Full ATX form factor Good build quality Low price, very good value (when on sale) Reliable, so far Supports Vishera CPU's out of the box
Cons: User manual could use revision
Overall Review: My first BiOSTAR product. Happy with it so far, but time will tell I suppose.
Love AMD!
Pros: Six cores! What's not to love? Overclocks relatively easily. 95W, 32nm, doesn't get too hot. Good value for money
Cons: Stock cooler really just doesn't cut it. Idles at 30C, but as soon as it's bumped up to 4.1GHz Turbo speeds, the heat climbs to around 70C in a case with good airflow. Aftermarket air cooler lowered idle temps to 22C and 55C at load.
Overall Review: AMD makes quality products, and I'll support them as long as they do. You just can't get the same bang-for-buck ratio with an Intel CPU unless you're spending $400+.
Overall Good Product
Pros: Cheap when on sale, SAPPHIRE quality, PCIe 3.0, pretty fast for the price, reliable
Cons: Not as good as you might think. This card looks good on paper, but performs only marginally better than modern AMD APU's. The fan is louder than some mid-range cards. If I was looking to buy again, I'd save a bit more money and wait for a sale or a refurb HD7850. Or, spend a bit more for an R7 260X and enjoy Mantle support.
Overall Review: Overall, it's not a bad card if you get it on sale. If you're looking for something mid-range that will handle modern games on high settings in the $100-125 range, I'd look elsewhere.
Very Good Value for Money
Pros: Good clean power, Antec build quality and reputation, 120mm fan isn't loud, nice long cables, wasn't DOA, got it on sale for a great price and the rebate actually worked
Cons: Could be quieter, wasn't free....?
Overall Review: Overall I'm very happy with my purchase so far. Time will tell.... This unit is powering an FX-6300 OC'd @ 4.4GHz, 8Gb DDR3-1866, 3 120mm fans, and two 1Tb hard drives.
Sloooooooooooooooooow Shipping!
Product was as described, works very well, great price, free shipping. Shipping was advertised as 5-7 day service, didn't receive the product until 18 days after it was ordered.
