Lots of Padding and Plenty of Room

Swiss Gear Wenger GRANITE Backpack - Fits Laptops with Screen Sizes Up to 15.6-inch - Green (GA-7335-07F00)
Swiss Gear Wenger GRANITE Backpack - Fits Laptops with Screen Sizes Up to 15.6-inch - Green (GA-7335-07F00)

Pros: Laptop sleeve is well padded and fits my 15.6" laptop perfectly, there's a lot of space in the main pocket, the straps are nicely padded and very comfortable

Cons: The only VERY minor complaint I have is that there are no pencil holders in the front pocket. Not a big problem, just means I have to dig a bit to find my pencil or pen... would be nice if there were dedicated pencil holders in that front pocket.

Overall Review: I bought this backpack for college to haul my books and laptop to and from my classes and I've been very happy with it. It has plenty of padding on all sides of the laptop sleeve and fits my 15.6" laptop like a glove. This past semester, I was hauling around 3 books (measuring in at 5" thick altogether and weighing probably 7-10 pounds), a 5-subject notebook, and the laptop and it all fit nicely in the main pocket. In addition to all that, I carried around a folded over-ear headset, power cord, and wireless mouse in the secondary pocket. Even with all that, the pack was still very comfortable to wear. Part of the reason that I went with Wenger was that I figured that the folks that make Swiss Army Knives would make good quality bags as well. I've not been disappointed. This backpack feels solid. I've only had it for 2 months but I feel like it will last for a long time to come.

It's a HDD. It does HDD stuff well.

WD Blue 1TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD10EZEX
WD Blue 1TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD10EZEX

Pros: It stores a sufficient amount of data and retrieves it quickly for a reasonable price. Plug into PSU, plug into motherboard, power on and install OS; everything is shiny and easy, no problems. Can't hear it spinning in the case; quiet.

Cons: Did not come with a unicorn. Product could be improved with the inclusion of a unicorn.

Overall Review: 10/10 would install again. Also, I like pie. And unicorns.

It's RAM and it works

CORSAIR 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory Model VS2GBKIT667D2

Pros: Installed this 3 and a half years ago in an already aging computer to give it a boost and it's still working great.

Cons: None

Overall Review: It's RAM that works. If you're computer requires DDR2, this will give your machine a nice boost and will keep on chugging for a long time.

Decent but dated

PNY GeForce 9400 GT 512MB GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Video Card VCG94512GXEB

Pros: *Fairly low power requirement *Decent graphics quality

Cons: *Price is a bit high for an older card *Cheap fan broke after a month of use

Overall Review: I got this about 2 years ago as an upgrade to the integrated GeForce 6150LE on an old Dell Dimension E521. With a 300w power requirement, it is the best graphics card I could find without having to upgrade the power supply as well. At the time it was an uber upgrade and ran Oblivion on high graphic settings and generally made all my games run smoothly and look nice and shiny. Even 2 years later, it is still running just fine with no errors at all. I can play Skyrim, Total War: Shogun 2, and Civ5 smoothly on lower settings. My only complaint is that after a month or so the built-in fan started making a horrible noise and eventually stopped spinning completely and had to be replaced. It's a decent card but fairly dated now; you can probably find something better for a comparable price.
