Disc unreable on slim X360

Pros: It's sequel to Force Unleashed 2. I know it's an easy and short game but that's okay.
Cons: The Collector's Edition disc is unreadable on my month old slim X360 that has no problem with other game discs. If I try to install the game to the hard drive, once it gets to 38%, I can hear the drive starts to have problem reading the disc and fails a few minutes later. Swapped with Newegg another copy but again it fails at same spot at 38% into the install. That's very unusual to have two new discs fail at the same spot. If I try to run directly from the disc, I can hear the drive can't read the disc very well and eventually errors out. I don't know if there are a bad batch of the discs from manufacturing. I know LucasArts is just dumping all the remaining stock to sell them off cheap. As for the CE contents, I would say all you get is a metal case. The main packaging box is twice as thick giving you impression there are more. The thickness is an empty box to hold the 2GB flash drive but the shape and size are very impractical and only good for display on the table.
Overall Review: I gave the game two extra rating points because of great Newegg customer service in how they handle both copies of the game disc that my slim X360 can't read.

Pros: See other thoughts.
Cons: See other thoughts.
Overall Review: As consumers want cheap Blu-ray players, first thing the goes is the quality. It's not just the hardware quality. With Blu-ray, the software in the firmware is more complex than DVD players. Hollywood movie studios often add new features or change the DRM in Blu-ray movies. They assume all Blu-ray manufacturers are quick in updating the player's firmware to properly play the newer movies. So many Blu-ray movies now start with a message to ensure the player's firmware is up to date. Do non-technical Blu-ray owners even understand what that means. Even they do, there's no guarantee the Blu-ray player manufacturer has a newer firmware that works properly with the movie. A standalone movie player should not be built like a computer where updating the player's software frequently is required. I don't see this will ever end because Blu-ray is designed to add new features which will require often new firmware update.
Single bank of LEDs

Pros: This new version is higher density memory which only has single bank of memory chips on the DIMMs. That helps to keep the DIMM overall cooler.
Cons: Since there is only one side of the DIMM that has the memory chips, there are half as many LEDs on this new version. I also have the older double sided DIMM which has twice as many LEDs.
Overall Review: If you like more LEDs on the DIMMs, you may want to look for the older version of the DIMM.
