Comments: I must admit that when I first ordered this monitor, I was apprehensive. It seems that CRT quality has diminished since the flat-panel LCDs have come into prominence. Furthermore, some of the reviews here have stated problems with distortion. Regardless, I went with my instincts. For less than 200 dollars, I could have a decent monitor to replace my old Dell 19" (Sony Trinitron Flatscreen on the inside). However, upon getting the monitor and setting it up, I was blown away... in fact.. it was ALMOST too sharp. The .20 dot-pitch makes details POP right out at you. At first I had a little distortion, but after a few tweaks and resolution changes, the problem has since been corrected. My only complaints thus far are the lack of a printed manual,the side mounted control buttons are awkward to adjust (I have already turned my monitor off accidently a few times), and the MagicBright Option seems to reset itself everything I change resolutions, thus forcing me to set it at my desired level everytime. Otherwise this monitor is crisp, clear and beautiful. Perfect for text, internet, graphics or gaming -- and I do all of them. Thanks NewEgg.com!
