Comments: Upgraded from an old T-bird 1.4 Ghz on a KT266A board to this chip on an MSI KT800 Neo. I was running dual IBM 40GB drives in RAID 0 on a Promise card, now running dual Seagate SATA drives off the on board promise controller in RAID 0. I'm speechless. The speed is unbelievable. Was a bit worried about the installation when I saw the AMD instructions, but it turns out to be a lot easier than it looks. On a side note with the stock AMD hsf and ONLY THE PSU FAN I can't get it to go above 52 Celsius, no matter how demanding the game I play. I'm in love. This chip is da bomb. For $238 it beats the $1000 P4 3.2Ghz EE in a LOT of benchmarks. Who can argue with that?
