Very Nice Case! Highly Recommend!

LIAN LI LANCOOL 216 X Black Steel / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case ,2x 16 cm PWM Fans Included (Non RGB ) ----LANCOOL 216X

Pros: Looks Great! Build Quality Is Great! Fans Are Good True Mid-sized Case

Cons: No Removable front Dust Filter!

Overall Review: - My System Specs - Ryzen 5 7600X Noctua NH-U12A chromax.Black Air Cooler G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO RGB Series (AMD Expo) 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5 6000 CL30-38-38-96 Desktop Memory Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD ASUS ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming WiFi Motherboard Corsair RMX Series (2021), RM750x, 750 Watt, Gold, Fully Modular Power Supply CORSAIR Premium Individually Sleeved EPS12V/ATX12V Power Supply Cables (You need these if using this same case and power supply) No GPU at this time Lian Li LancooL 216 Black (Non-RGB) Case This is a very nice case! Build quality is great! No flimsy materials anywhere. And of course, it looks great, too! I opted for the non-RGB version. When planning my new build, I knew I didn't want a big case, and this one is the perfect mid-sized case for me. At first, I had a short list of other PC cases I was interested in, and didn't even know this one existed, until I stumbled upon it on Newegg. Now I am so happy that I did. I was one of the first to buy this case on Newegg right after it was listed. And there were no reviews at the time I purchased it. I know Lian Li has a reputation for making quality stuff, so I had to buy it. The included three fans are nice. They can certainly push a lot of air when necessary, and they're pretty quiet during normal usage, once you set them how you like with your fan profile. They may be loud when you're pushing your system hard, but with this being a well ventilated case with all the mesh holes, you're naturally going to hear the fans more easily. Before buying any other case fans, do give these a chance. I think you will be more than happy with them. The included back fan mount is a nice addition for those who will be filling the case with a lot of high-end components, and overclocking. I won't be using mine anytime soon, as I won't be overclocking, or using a power-hungry GPU. I have no GPU for my build as of this review. I am waiting for the 4060 or 4070 GPUs to come out. Had I known they wouldn't have been released by now, I would have waited before doing my build. The GPU is the only thing I need right now. Cable management is simple with this case. Lian Li really thought this out. There are several Velcro straps, and cable-routing clips to secure your cables in place. You can easily do a great job with your cable management. So you have NO excuses not do so so. Don't be lazy! Tidy up your cables! There are no LEDs anywhere on the case, and I like this. They can be a distraction, anyway. The tinted glass side panel is held in place with one thumb screw that screws into the back edge of the panel (on back of the case). The right side panel just pushes securely into place. There is no screw for this panel, but it seems to be held securely into place. Just a heads up for those of you who plan to use this case and the same, or similar Corsair RMX Series power supply that have capacitors in the stock cables. The stock EPS12V (CPU) cables will not work in this PC case due to the thickness of the wrapped capacitors. When bending them for routing through the cut out to the motherboard, you have to do so past where those capacitors are, and in doing so, this makes the cables shorter, and you can't reach your motherboard. I had to buy Corsair's Premium Individually Sleeved EPS12V/ATX12V Power Supply Cables, which are longer at 750mm. Of course, you can simply buy a different PSU altogether to avoid this. I had already bought the Corsair PSU and put it in my build, when I discovered the problem. Instead of taking everything out, I just ordered those other cables. Everything is working now. You will not have any issues with any of the other included stock cables that come with this power supply. Only minor con I have with this case, is there is no removable front dust filter. There is only a removable dust filter on the bottom for the power supply intake. I do wish there was an included filter for the front. This was a little disappointing to me. I live in a dusty environment, and a dust filter would be very helpful in my case, even if it raised my case temps a little. I need a front dust filter. I'd rather have an included front dust filter, than the included back fan mount. Yes, I highly recommend this case. I am very happy with it. Now go build yourself a nice, new computer, boys and girls. Best of luck with your new build, and most importantly, be kind to others! Meow! Meow! 😜

Very Tight Going In!

Transcend TS-RDF5K USB 3.0 Support SDHC (UHS-I), SDXC (UHS-I), microSD, microSDHC (UHS-I), and microSDXC (UHS-I) Flash Card Reader
Transcend TS-RDF5K USB 3.0 Support SDHC (UHS-I), SDXC (UHS-I), microSD, microSDHC (UHS-I), and microSDXC (UHS-I) Flash Card Reader

Pros: Unit worked great with my microSD card, as I was able to transfer nearly a gig of files with no problems at all. However, I wasn't able to use my regular sized SD cards, though. Read the cons to see why.

Cons: Unit takes a little force to plug in and pull out of the USB 3.0 ports on my Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case. It felt like I was going to break something, to be honest. Also, my Phanteks Enthoo pro Case has a flip-up panel that hides the front USB ports. I can only use the card reader with a microSD card in these particular USB ports, as the larger sized cards interfere with the flip-up panel keeping it from plugging all the way in. Something to consider if your case has a flip-up panel. My back USB ports are all taken up with other USB devices, so the front panel was my only option. I will be unable to use this device with all my regular sized SD cards, which is very disappointing. I'll now have to find something else to use.

Overall Review: I took 2 eggs off due to the unit taking a little force to plug in and pull out, which feels like it could cause some damage to the USB port with repeated use. Just be careful when plugging it in and pulling it out and you should be fine. This reader just don't work well with my particular computer case, at least with the front USB ports. I can't blame the reader for that, so I didn't take off any eggs for that.

Good Cable

CORSAIR Premium 600W PCIe 5.0 / Gen 5 12VHPWR PSU Cable - Black - Fits Type-4 PSUs via Dual 8-pin PCIe - 12+4pin Connector - Mesh Paracord Sleeving

Pros: Feels durable Looks nice and clean Good length

Cons: No cable combs included Pricey

Overall Review: The Corsair Premium 600W PCIe 5.0 / Gen 5 12VHPWR PSU Cable looks and feels like a quality cable. I have it connected to an ASUS Tuf 4070 Ti, and a Corsair RMX Series (2021) 750 Watt, Gold power supply. It's been working great. Cable was easy to work with and install, however, when connecting it to the GPU, I did not hear that 'click' sound everyone talks about when connecting these type of cables, indicating it has been properly seated/connected. Maybe this cable does not 'click' into place, but I know it's properly connected. I can clearly see that it is. Only reason I bought this cable was because I wanted something easy to work with, and it was that. It's a shame Corsair don't at least include a few plastic cable combs to help tidy things up a bit, especially for the premium price you're paying. I mean, come on, Corsair! We're talking small pieces of plastic here. I would recommend this cable. SanDisk 64GB Ultra Luxe USB 3.1 Flash Drive, Speed Up to 150MB/s (SDCZ74-064G-G46)

Pros: * Tiny thumb drive that doesn't crowd other USB ports * Made of metal and feels durable * Transfer speeds are pretty fast for me

Cons: * Like many others have said, this little guy does get hot during heavy usage

Overall Review: Great performing thumb drive. It is real tiny, so keep a close eye on it when it's not in use. Don't let a young child, or pet get a hold of it. They could swallow it. I do wish it came with a case to keep it in when it's not being used. I'll be keeping mine in a small zip case with the other thumb drives I have. And for those of you wanting to password protect your files, you may download the SanDisk SecureAccess software to create a password protected folder on your drive. You can download this software from the SanDisk site. So that's pretty cool, I guess. Yes, I would recommend Yes, I would purchase again

Very Handy Device!

Unitek USB 3.0 to IDE and SATA Converter External Hard Drive Adapter Kit for Universal 2.5/3.5 HDD/SSD Hard Drive Disk, One Touch Backup Function and Restore Software, Included 12V/2A Power Adapte
Unitek USB 3.0 to IDE and SATA Converter External Hard Drive Adapter Kit for Universal 2.5/3.5 HDD/SSD Hard Drive Disk, One Touch Backup Function and Restore Software, Included 12V/2A Power Adapte

Pros: Can use 2 drives (IDE and SATA) simultaneously Not too expensive (Got mine for $19)

Cons: The 4-pin power cable takes a little effort when unplugging from an IDE drive. The different connector types are not labeled (SATA, IDE, 2.5)

Overall Review: If you have a lot of old drives (IDE and/or SATA) you'd like to still be able to use, this is a great little device for that. I can now bring back a few of my old IDE drives to life. It's a great little product, and I highly recommend it. Thanks UNITEK!

Great For Capturing Your DV Tapes To Computer

VANTEC 3-Port FireWire 400 PCIe Host Card Model UGT-FW200
VANTEC 3-Port FireWire 400 PCIe Host Card Model UGT-FW200

Pros: Decent price It worked like a champ It's very small

Cons: None at all!

Overall Review: I was able to successfully capture all of my mini DV tapes to my computer. I have many precious memories recorded on these tapes and was worried about the tapes deteriorating if I didn't soon capture them to my computer. It worked and I can now make a few backup copies for safe keeping. I should have done this a long time ago! If you need to capture some DV tapes to your pc, quit putting it off and get on it. Those small tapes won't last forever! I looked at a few other capture cards, but decided to give this one a try. I'm glad I did - it worked perfectly! Also, you DO NOT need to hook a power cable up to this card if you're only capturing videos. I emailed tech support and they told me this. I used mine by simply installing it in my motherboard. Great product and I highly recommend it! Thanks Vantec!
