Bought for Intel desktop board
Pros: Bought this ram because it was tested by intel and recommended for the Intel dp55wb. i bought 4 2gb sticks equating to 8gb total. in conjunction with I5 cpu, the machine i built SCREAMS.
Cons: none
Overall Review: people need to start checking motherboard manufacturer websites before they randomly select RAM. i got this ram beacuse it was on intel's tested/compatibility list and i'm highly satisfied.
great for desktop build
Pros: i paired this with an intel desktop board dp55wb. just installed windows 7 last night. i have 0 problems with this card. got the latest catalyst drivers from ati's website and was rockin out. only installed last night so haven't thrown much video at it.
Cons: none.
Overall Review: went with this card beacuse it was small, and fanless. not going to be used for gaming. reviewers after me, don't mention anything about how poorly it games, beacuse It's not a gaming card. it's a card for video and HTPC use. it does that very well, read reviews on RADEON HD 4550.
it's a drive
Pros: it works fine without any hassle.
Cons: i usually don't complain about computer stuff and just take them for what they are, but this thing is kinda loud.
Overall Review: matches my antec p180.
great for i5
Pros: the stock heatsink that comes with the i5 cpu is PUNY. this thing is AWESOME. i love how the fan mounts to the plastic bracket with rubber grommets. what a novel idea for vibration/acoustics. it's great that this thing can work with so many cpus/sockets. comes wiht MX-2 thermal paste which is comparable to Arctic Silver 5. in an antec p180 mini case with fans set to low, i idle at 30c. this thing is whisper quiet, you will be satisfied with this cooler.
Cons: none! this thing is sweet.
Overall Review: even the plastic packaging is a unique design. you'll know what i mean when you get yours.
just wow
Pros: got this CPU paired with 8GB Intel recommended Kingston DDR3 ram, and Intel desktop board DP55WB. I've been building pcs since 2002. I'm just still shocked how cheap everything is now and how blazing fast this CPU. windows 7 home premium installed in under 12 minutes. there's no way this CPU will let you down. and to all you guys taking an egg off because you're having OC problems. geez
Cons: included CPU cooler is insufficient. i read others reviews and opted to get an aftermarket cooler. see other thoughts.
Overall Review: if you're getting this CPU, protect your investment and get the ARCTIC FREEZER 7 PRO REV.2. All 4 cores idle at 30c in an Antec P180 mini case. Stress tested with prime95 and all 4 cores stayed right at 60c and didn't go above.
best case i've ever used
Pros: Best built case i've ever had the pleasure of using. sound deadening built into the side panels, massive fan up top, dust filters, extremely attractive case all around. love the conduit behind the mobo for the cables to run through so you're not cluttering up and blocking airflow. grommets for hard drive mounts, silcone feet on bottom of case to dampen vibration. I've been building PCs since 2002 and again, this is the best case I've ever used.
Cons: none at all.
Overall Review: this is one case that appeals to all crowds, whether it's your aunt, girlfriends father, or you're a hardcore gamer.
