PowerColor PCS+ AX7970 3GBD5-2DHPPV Radeon HD 7970 VORTEXII 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
PowerColor PCS+ AX7970 3GBD5-2DHPPV Radeon HD 7970 VORTEXII 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: great card for me. using Catalyst 12.3 anything later than that can cause problems. I dont know why.

Cons: none with Catalyst 12.3

Overall Review: I dont know what it is with the Catalyst 12.4 but for me is just plain does not work. I havent used 12.6 yet as the 12.3 works great with awsome benchmark numbers. I know the 12.4 with the Gigabyte card was terrible and there Tech pretty much killed the card. Give 12.3 a try and see if its better.

Super fast

HighPoint RocketCache 3240X8 PCI-Express 2.0 x8 SSD RAID Caching Controller Card
HighPoint RocketCache 3240X8 PCI-Express 2.0 x8 SSD RAID Caching Controller Card

Pros: This Cache card is super fast and very easy setup. I set mine up with a WD 600GB Velociraptor as the HDD and used 2 Adata SX900 64GB SSD's and a OCZ Vertex 4 as the cache accelerator. All the drives are SATA 6gbs. Im getting well over 1500MB per second reads and over 1200MB per second writes. the first program I loaded on the this system was a 37MB program and within a second after I pressed load, and Its was allready loaded and finished. Im going to make a change to a 1TB HDD as I want to put my 2 VelocityRaptors back as a RAID 0 configuration it only toped out at around 330Mb per second. and as soon as I get a litte more cash Im going to get another 3240x8 and tie the two Vraptors to two more SSD's I am extremely impressed with the performance of a such an inexpensive cache card. And would definately recomend it.

Cons: None so far. except that it seemed to slow my boot times by a tad.

Overall Review: From the reasearch I did about this card it a waste of money by using more than 60-64GB SSD's as the accelorator drives. And the Adata 64GB SSD's run over 500MB/s.

Awsome case

Cooler Master Cosmos II - Ultra Tower Computer Case with Metal Body and Hinged Side Panels
Cooler Master Cosmos II - Ultra Tower Computer Case with Metal Body and Hinged Side Panels

Pros: Great looks, plenty of space inside for easy building and upgrades. Lots of HDD bays. Wonderfull cable management. Lots of unique feature. Also this case has great airflow and lots of options for fan placement.

Cons: A little on the heavy side and as someone allready mentioned, Plastics HDD trays. The price is alittle hard to swallow, but once you get the case and see it, its worth it.

Overall Review: would be nice to have a side window.

Great memory!!

G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 32GB (8 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-17000CL9Q2-32GBZH
G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 32GB (8 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-17000CL9Q2-32GBZH

Pros: I used this memory in a recent new build and have had zero problems with this kit. considering its size and speed. It initially boots at 1600mhz with loose 11-11-11 timings but will accept 9-9-9 at 1600. but with the click of the mouse you can really turn it up to 2133mhz with no stability problems whatsoever.

Cons: It would have been nice to have a temp sensor. But so far they have only gotten warm to the touch. so I quess its not needed

Overall Review: I used these in a recent X79 build and have been pleased so far. So, if your building an X79 and want 32gb of fast memory. you cant go wrong with these.
