Pros: Fast drive, good burns while it lasted.

Cons: Died in less than a year. I've owned 5 DVD burners, never had one die. Last BenQ I'll purchase ever.

Pros: Large drive, good performance (when it works).

Cons: Seagate has numerous problems with this drive (and other 7200.11 units). Drives die early and often. They've admitted there are problems and have issued new bioses but the problems still remain. Check out Seagate.com support forums and you'll run away from this drive screaming. Go with WD. Seagate is a horrible company from product to customer service, their track record proves it.

Pros: Both beige and black faceplates are included.

Cons: Unit comes with beige faceplate installed (is this 1982?). Black faceplate would not fit correctly on the unit, but of course the beige does. Too bad I don't have a beige computer since it was built a week ago and not the last time the Bee Gees had a hit record. Next, the SD slot literally breaks the first time it's used. Don't walk away from this, run. Cheaply made and it shows. Not worth RMA and ship back and forth to replace a $15 part so I guess I'll buy local and eat the cost.

Comments: Great little printer for home. Works fast and prints excellent.
