Ohh Yeah!
Pros: Brilliant! I purchased this with a view to tinker around with Windows Server 2012 and this works perfectly. Had issues with driver on other higher-grade desktop motherboards. Friendly and knowledgeable tech support (who I called prior to purchase). I'm sure this will serve lovely when I finish my training and use for my main desktop computer in a month or two :) BIOS is nice and easy to use.
Cons: One ethernet port driver doesn't work on Server 2012. It's hardly a con, though, if you're buying for desktop reasons, I know this is NOT a server board.
Overall Review: Running with Intel i7-4790k - brilliant combo.
Didn't work
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Didn't work! Identified by two computers as blank DVDs but failed to write to them. Tried four disks; and about six times.
Overall Review: It's a shame, I wish these had worked, it's a good deal.
Wow!
Pros: I more base this 5 egg review on what others have said when I pull this out of the bag. I'm not one to brag about what I have and flash it all over the place, but people point and ask how much I paid for it when I do! BRILLIANT price, if it comes back into stock. Works really well. Easy to use. I have strong batteries in mine, but they seem to last a lifetime.
Cons: With my "average" tech knowledge on cameras I didn't buy this with any intention other than to take simple family snaps. I, therefore, have no con-thoughts whatsoever.
Not bad for a cheapy
Pros: Does the job at a level the price suggests.
Cons: I didn't notice if it said or not, but there's no sound input into this monitor. If the NewEgg advert states this as a missing feature then amend my 4 egg rating to 5 as I missed it!
So far so good
Pros: Nice! Runs a lot faster than I thought it would - based on previous tablets I've played with over the last couple of years. I know 2 generations have since been released but if you're struggling to justify $2k for a top-of-the-line one then I recommend this. Decent battery life for a stock battery.
Cons: Only con is the OS on here. I thought 64GB was plenty for stock setup allowing for application personalisation etc but once you get the updates on it doesn't leave an amazing amount of space. There's enough to get by, for the price you can't moan - even though I just did ;) Not a con on this product, but note the keyboard is still a little steep in price. Cases are good value.
Overall Review: It takes a while to get used to Win 8/8.1 without using a mouse. Note, though, against other OSs you won't be disappointed once you get used to it.
Flies
Pros: >Combined< with Intel 4790k on ASUS Maximus VII mobo it's much quicker than the 2nd Gen equivalent i7 with 1600mhz version cards I replaced. Superb combo. Runs cool at stock. One day I'll toy with OC'ing these but my PC runs so smoothly I see no reason to do so aside to say I have!
Cons: Had to tweak the Maximus VII's bios to force it to run at stock speed - although, that's more of a con on the mobo than on these cards.
Overall Review: Put a price watch on these, the prices fluctuate more than the US $ against the Russian Rubel!
