Pros: I more base this 5 egg review on what others have said when I pull this out of the bag. I'm not one to brag about what I have and flash it all over the place, but people point and ask how much I paid for it when I do! BRILLIANT price, if it comes back into stock.
Works really well. Easy to use. I have strong batteries in mine, but they seem to last a lifetime.
Cons: With my "average" tech knowledge on cameras I didn't buy this with any intention other than to take simple family snaps. I, therefore, have no con-thoughts whatsoever.
Pros: Does the job at a level the price suggests.
Cons: I didn't notice if it said or not, but there's no sound input into this monitor. If the NewEgg advert states this as a missing feature then amend my 4 egg rating to 5 as I missed it!
Pros: Nice! Runs a lot faster than I thought it would - based on previous tablets I've played with over the last couple of years. I know 2 generations have since been released but if you're struggling to justify $2k for a top-of-the-line one then I recommend this.
Decent battery life for a stock battery.
Cons: Only con is the OS on here. I thought 64GB was plenty for stock setup allowing for application personalisation etc but once you get the updates on it doesn't leave an amazing amount of space. There's enough to get by, for the price you can't moan - even though I just did ;)
Not a con on this product, but note the keyboard is still a little steep in price. Cases are good value.
Overall Review: It takes a while to get used to Win 8/8.1 without using a mouse. Note, though, against other OSs you won't be disappointed once you get used to it.
Pros: >Combined< with Intel 4790k on ASUS Maximus VII mobo it's much quicker than the 2nd Gen equivalent i7 with 1600mhz version cards I replaced. Superb combo.
Runs cool at stock. One day I'll toy with OC'ing these but my PC runs so smoothly I see no reason to do so aside to say I have!
Cons: Had to tweak the Maximus VII's bios to force it to run at stock speed - although, that's more of a con on the mobo than on these cards.
Overall Review: Put a price watch on these, the prices fluctuate more than the US $ against the Russian Rubel!
Pros: Purchased as a present to go with my Niece's camera. I asked her what she thought and she gave it 5 eggs!
Good price for a simple 8GB card.
Cons: None that she's made me aware of.
Pros: In my experience, this stuff is either 1 egg or 5. For me, this product is one of the 5 egg items.
Cons: Newegg forced me to write a con here, that's the only con.
Pros: Clear picture, BRILLIANT price.
As millions of the other reviews state, you can easily remove the "cover up" of the rebranding. Just be patient when it comes to removing the black marker lines!
Cons: Glossy screen causes a little mirroring, but not worth an egg.
No sound input/speakers - which I don't think was stated on the features.
DOES NOT TILT OR SWIVEL AS STATED. Not a bother for my use, but others may buy on the back of this feature.
Overall Review: Still, 5 eggs for the picture quality... ESP at this price.
Pros: Works well at a decent range compared to the MS one I replaced.
I like the on-off switch on both items for battery conservation.
Cons: None. I read reviews saying battery life isn't good but I've had no such problems after 3 weeks intensive use.
Pros: Purchased it to get some sound out of a spare computer, pit of a risk - Not half as bad as I thought it would be. Brilliant price for what you get.
Cons: None to mention. If you want real quality then pay for it, otherwise get this.
Pros: I knew what I was buying and it works!
Overall Review: I've bought these before and I'll buy them again. Good price for a simple, standard 7200rpm HD.
Pros: ASUS definitely know how to please us higher end PC builders.
Easy to use BIOS.
Combined build with Intel 4790k and 16GB (2x8) G-Skill Trident 2400mhz is an excellent combo.
Cons: Maybe a little sensitive to the CPU temperatures; reporting them a little higher than they really are (this feature can be turned off). Compared to Supermicro C7Z97 board with same processor reporting temp 10C lower on same operation speeds.
Didn't pick up RAM speed, understated to 1333mhz when it's 2400mhz (Setting in BIOS to correct this, so not really a con!)
Not really a con, but some components don't work with Win Server 2012 which I installed to train, LAN controller didn't work.
Overall Review: Once set up properly, it's a gamer board for sure.
Would be 5 eggs if I didn't have to check the component settings to ensure they're all correctly picked up.
Pros: Works well. Very well.
Cons: Nothing to report, does exactly what I expect it to.
Overall Review: Combined with Supermicro C7Z97 and Intel 4790K makes a brilliant combo.
Pros: Very nice all round CPU; esp since the price came down a little.
Using stock cooling fan and running nice and efficiently on default clock setting.
Cons: None whatsoever.
Overall Review: Currently, I'm using this on a Supermicro C7Z97 with 32GB @ 1600mhz (no overclocking - yet!) on a test setup. Also, its handling of the Intel Z97 chipset is pretty decent.
Pros: Works well and works quietly
Cons: A bit "wirey" - I have a large ATX case and this fills most of the air at the bottom. - Note this "con" does NOT affect cooling system; it's not that bulky!
Overall Review: I went a bit OTT buying this one for my set up, but I recommend if you're unsure lower tier PSU will do the job.
Pros: Does the job! Not much else to say, really :)
Overall Review: It works, what else would you like to know?!
Pros: Does the job.
Cons: No driver disk - Although, it's available for download.
Pros: Brilliant! I purchased this with a view to tinker around with Windows Server 2012 and this works perfectly. Had issues with driver on other higher-grade desktop motherboards. Friendly and knowledgeable tech support (who I called prior to purchase). I'm sure this will serve lovely when I finish my training and use for my main desktop computer in a month or two :)
BIOS is nice and easy to use.
Cons: One ethernet port driver doesn't work on Server 2012. It's hardly a con, though, if you're buying for desktop reasons, I know this is NOT a server board.
Overall Review: Running with Intel i7-4790k - brilliant combo.
Cons: Didn't work! Identified by two computers as blank DVDs but failed to write to them. Tried four disks; and about six times.
Overall Review: It's a shame, I wish these had worked, it's a good deal.
