Pros: Got this for xmas for a new machine. Plays every game i own perfectly with the exception of F.E.A.R which has stutter in a few spots. As far as noise goes I hear none, mine runs a tad warm at 58c idle and about 80c under load. Shutdown of the core is 145c so I guess that i'snt that warm, I tend to agree with another reviewer that stated "I dont need to see a fluid moving pixel light years away" as I neither care to see a rock on Pluto or want to for that matter. Dunno maybe it's me, but when I game I'm to busy killing to care about viewing a ant walking on the gravel so this card works just fine. Bottom line, need a inexpensive card that will play all games? Get this one, on a ego trip and have to show off or are a hardcore gammer? Get a 7800.. Intal p4 3.2 Prescott Intel D945PSN Kingston DDR 667 2 gigs NEC DVD-RW Seagate 200 gig SATA Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic 8 XFX 6600GT Antec TP-550 XP Pro SP2 Viewsonic VP912b
Cons: None really
Overall Review: Glad to see XFX dump the house sized giant X shaped boxes. I save the boxes for when it's time to sell and upgrade.

Pros: It works, the home page change alert is cool for those flakey sites that like to change your homepage. This will stop that. basically the same as 2005 with a few more/less buttons.
Cons: THING IS A PIG!! With 2005 this machine booted to desktop in 17 seconds flat, with 2006 installed it's over a minute. It sits at the welcome screen while norton loads up. protection center is a joke, disable it in "services".
Overall Review: Is it worth it? In my opinion no. Keep 2004 or 2005 an just up another year.
Newer Isn't always better

Pros: Stylish, sleek, small and comfy.
Cons: Newer Isn't always better, the call delay is annoying BUT the preasure needed to push the button is even more so. Soft touch button would have been a plus, everyone I called asked if I was in a tunnel as it has a weird sound. Lacks all the goodies my 640 came with, oh well live an learn. RMA here I come.
UPDATE

Pros: WELP SPOKE TO SOON, TOWER LOOKS AWSOME. UNFORTUNATLY IT HAD FAULTY USB PORTS AN ONCE I PLUGGED A USB DEVICE IN THE TOWER IT FRIED MY MOBO. RMS'ED BOARD BACK TO INTELL AND THEY HAVE VERIFIED THIS. CONTACTED ANTEC, THEIR SOLOUTION WAS MAIL THEM THE WHOLE PC SO THEY COULD REPRODUCE THE ERROR. KINDA HARD WHEN IT WAS DEAD.
Cons: See above

Pros: I tend to agree the older version was better. I had one in my old system over a year and never heard a peep. This one is less than 2 months old and all of a sudden has picked up a wicked vibtation. i recently bought a 250 gig as well and same deal, popped it in a external and it vibrated so bad my mouse felt like a electric razor.
Cons: Dunno where seagates quality went but it apparently has left the building. Also maybe I never noticed but I don't remember seagates being made in Taiwan.
Overall Review: Again maybe me but since UPS took over and plays soccer with the boxes it sure seems we see more DOA's an problems than before.

Pros: none
Cons: short RCA cables
Overall Review: Seems ok, couldn't find anything else to buy. With home kit I lose signal when it's windy, may help to throw it on the roof but I don't want to. Thing isn't much better than regular rasio, you end up paying 12.95 for no commercials. For traveling this would be the way to go, for home use stay with your local channels.
