Excellent!

Palit NE3TS25EFHD02 GeForce GTS 250 E-Green 1GB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card
Palit NE3TS25EFHD02 GeForce GTS 250 E-Green 1GB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

Pros: Very fast, multiple inputs including HDMI, small compared to other GTS 250 cards.

Cons: Card is crimson red where everything else in my PC is lime green. -.- Also had to buy a new PSU for this one, my 400W wasn't quite enough to run this safely.

Overall Review: Phenomenal speed increase over my Sapphire Radeon HD4670. Been running my Palit for five months now, absolutely no problems. 80+ FPS in MW2 at 1920x1080 resolution.

Most Critical Review

Excellent input/output sound quality, flawed design

PLANTRONICS GameCom 777 3.5mm/ USB Connector Circumaural Surround Sound Gaming Headset
PLANTRONICS GameCom 777 3.5mm/ USB Connector Circumaural Surround Sound Gaming Headset

Pros: I bought this in April 2010 and from day 1, I was impressed. The sound quality is second to none with the 5.1 Dolby Surround turned on, it makes cinematic sequences in games feel real. I'm not joking when I say it's like having IMAX audio on your head. The quality of the mic is very clear, no static, not too quiet and not too loud.

Cons: Unfortunately I'm here on Newegg because I'm shopping for a new headset. A few days ago, a small crack appeared in the plastic, and today the whole thing snapped in half. I bought these from Buy.com, not Newegg, which is a shame because had I read all these reviews of people's headsets breaking, I would not have bought this model. I bought them on sale for $58.00, but that's still a lot of money to spend on something that up and broke in a year.

Overall Review: I would buy from Plantronics again, because the headset I owned before this one was from Plantronics, but I will not be buying this model again, it simply isn't worth it. I do not recommend this product to anyone who puts moderate or heavy use into their headset.

Could be a lot better

Microsoft SideWinder X5 Mouse
Microsoft SideWinder X5 Mouse

Pros: - On-the-fly DPI settings - Cool LED lighting - Easy to install - Accurate, and built to last

Cons: - Awkward "lumpy" shape that's slightly uncomfortable to hold - Side buttons stick out like warts - Adjustable weights don't do much at all for the overall weight of the mouse - "Sidewinder" button is non customizable and only opens the Windows Games folder - Macro recorder is pretty useless, especially for a mouse with so few buttons

Overall Review: I bought it open-boxed off of a certain auction site that I'm pretty sure everyone knows about, for the price of $23.00. I got it to replace a cheap chinese-brand mouse with a broken scroll wheel, and to match the Sidewinder X6 keyboard that I love. However, after trying out this mouse, I might just go back to the broken one.

Sweet webcam!

Hercules 4780655 Dualpix HD720p Emotion 1.0 M Effective Pixels USB 2.0 WebCam
Hercules 4780655 Dualpix HD720p Emotion 1.0 M Effective Pixels USB 2.0 WebCam

Pros: 1280x800 effective pixels and no lag, full 30 fps recording/streaming. Great for Skype and other video based applications. Also good for recording for YouTube vlogs.

Cons: The software is a bit tricky to install, and doesn't seem to work 100% on Windows 7, but that's not a big deal.

Overall Review: Overall a great webcam for the money. I would have ordered from Newegg when they were still $22.99 but they went out of stock so I had to use another shopping site where I got it for $31.20.

Almost perfect

Ozone Gaming Gear STRATO EVO USB 5.1 Surround Professional Gaming Headset
Ozone Gaming Gear STRATO EVO USB 5.1 Surround Professional Gaming Headset

Pros: Driver installed without a hitch on Win7 x64 (whew!), and once the audio settings are properly set-up, the sound is terrific. The feature of having miniature speakers within each earpiece is what really puts the Strato ahead of the competition, and it puts ME ahead of the competition in games. Another nice thing is that it's not a giant clamp like some headsets, so wearing it for several hours at a time is not uncomfortable. And when I'm not gaming, they're great for listening to music on the PC. Heavy bass is an understatement; this thing vibrates my skull. I'm personally not a fan of the faux-environment settings available in the software, but that's just me.

Cons: It doesn't seem to want to stay on my head for some reason, even with it properly adjusted, and it's a bit heavy, too, but the biggest con is the instruction manual, which was clearly machine translated. It makes no sense at all and it's practically useless. None of these are bad enough to drop it a full egg though, but a true rating would be a 4.25/5.00 eggs. ;)

Overall Review: You'll need to mess around with the settings using the program included on the CD, because straight out of the box, the sound is a bit hollow. However, once you have everything fine tuned, the sound is incredible. I was a bit reluctant to buy something with no reviews, but my luck paid off. This is an impressive gaming headset, and what's more impressive is the price. I've used headsets that cost $50 more that don't perform as well as this one. Buy this, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent headphones for the price

Skullcandy Black SCS-SCBP 3.5mm/ 6.3mm Connector Circumaural Skullcrusher Subwoofer Stereo Headphone (Black Pinstripe)
Skullcandy Black SCS-SCBP 3.5mm/ 6.3mm Connector Circumaural Skullcrusher Subwoofer Stereo Headphone (Black Pinstripe)

Pros: Bass literally vibrates my skull, which is a feeling I've never experience with any other pair of headphones I've ever owned. Sound quality is excellent, but diminishes slightly with the bass on max. The headphones are also very lightweight, something I didn't expect. I could almost go running in these.

Cons: Bass balance is a bit out of wack, by which I mean it's stronger in the right ear than in the left. That's the biggest problem with these headphones and it's why I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5. Also the sound is a bit off when hooked up to my computer. Still sounds great when it's hooked up to my Zune, though, so maybe that's my computer's fault.

Overall Review: I got these on sale for 44.99 and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
