Great Card for the Features/Price

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4670 1GB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100256L
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4670 1GB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100256L

Pros: -Microsoft DirectX 10.0 Ready! -PCI Express 2.0 gives you twice the throughput than the standard x16 bus. -55nm fabrication process: Reduced physical card size. Can install in a huge array of cases. Energy Efficient. This card is designed to preform on half the power of a standard mid/high range graphics card that required additional power support from a PSU, i.e. 4-6 pin power plug. Not needed with the HD4670. Runs just as fast as a standard card -4670- at half the power. Card has good Over-Clock ability. Much more features to list here. Pull it up and take a look for yourself. Oh, almost forgit...see below: VISTA 64bit READY... WINDOWS XP PRO 64bit READY!! Plenty of driver support out there! ATI CrossFireX READY! Pair two of these babies side by side in crossfire and watch you graphics fly! Trust me, it runs great! I love it!

Cons: This card has 1.0 GB of memory DDR3. Only issue is that it is scaled in 128.0 memory interface. My turn off some hard-core gamers. Most mid-high end cards now have a standard of 256 or above. By the way, if you set this card up in crossfire mode with another HD4670 with the same specs, and your DDR3 memory problem goes away. Thats a plus! Sapphire did not ship the crossfire bridge for these cards in the package, kinda strange. Just picked some up and took care of it.

Overall Review: For the money you could not go wrong with this card. Sure, there are some outstanding cards out there that could blow this card away, but I would rather spend the three hundred plus dollars on somthing else. I play mostly flight simulators on my rig, Microsoft Setup: Windows XP Pro 64bit. Asrock A780GXE/128M Mainboard. AMD Athlon 64X2 @3.2GHz. 6 Gigs/Patriot 800mhz DDR2 memory (4-4-4-12) Two Sapphire Radeon HD4670 cards in CrossFireX mode. Ocz 600watt PSU.

NO GO!

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 3850 512MB GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Graphics Card 100228L
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 3850 512MB GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Graphics Card 100228L

Pros: Nice looking AGP card with good speed and muscle to give any AGP platform an exstension on life...at least according to the cool looking box and video card.

Cons: Horrible card as this moment anyway... And I have not yet had a chance to use it! After driver install from the cd, from ATI's website, Sapphire website and after the hotfix install, NOTHING! After three attemps you get a blue screen and then a blank screen until you pull the plug and go into safe mode. What is it with ATI? Why do their cards have to be a pain to get up and running? Why can't they get with the program like BFG Tech and Nvidia and build a good card that is strong, tough, and easy to install and set up? Sapphire could have messed up and dropped it or somthing of that nature, but from seeing all the bad reviews on this card, and seeing that people are having the same problem I am...go figure, yeah this card has some major problems.

Overall Review: Newegg was great with the online RMA! Will try ATI one more time with the replacement. I hope I have better luck in a week. Being a long time fan of Nvidia will no issues at all, and then taking a chance on ATI and running into this with my first ATI card really upsets me. Let's see what happens. Will post second review when card comes in.

Very good Mid-Range Card

XFX HD-685X-ZNBC Radeon HD 6850 Black Edition 1GB 256-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
XFX HD-685X-ZNBC Radeon HD 6850 Black Edition 1GB 256-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: Fast clock speed -stock- 1GB GDDR5 memory. 256bit memory interface. Fits small to mid-size atx cases with room to spare. Good power management with needing one 6-pin connector. Will over-clock and maintain stability. XFX gives nice little goddies with card. i.e. stickers, metal plate sticker for the case. Good tech support, runs very well and stays cool.

Cons: The cooling is good on these cards however, when running two of these cards in crossfire...the cards very close together. XFX did open up the tops of these cards a bit to allow more airflow from a 120mm side fan from the case. Just watch the temps when running two in crossfire. The cards again are very close...almost touching. Other than that no issues thus far.

Overall Review: Replaced a older XFX HD 5770 that was a great card! Fast, stable, and ran my games and flight simulators. Only drawback is the 5770 runs @ 128bit memory interface. Bottlenecks the system. With the 6850 running @ 256bit interface, it's night and day with the simulators and games! Very happy with it. Does what I wanted to it to do.

Great Mid-Range Card

XFX Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card HD-577A-ZNFC
XFX Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card HD-577A-ZNFC

Pros: Fast GPU, GDDR5 Memory, Good cooling solution, Stable, Well priced.

Cons: 128 Bit Memory Support, Hit and miss with Driver Install NOTE: No fault of XFX, AMD has always had driver issues.

Overall Review: Very good mid-range graphics card. Has enough horse power at default settings to run most games and software out there. Can over-clock well over 1Ghz. Memory is fast and stable other than being bottle necked at 128bit interface. Runs cool on auto and manual control. Quiet by most gaming rig standards. Crossfire ready, runs very well in crossfire paired with an additional 5770. Can't say enough about this little card. Runs FSX, FS9, very well. Great card.

The Bridge...

PowerColor CrossFire Bridge Interconnect Cable Model 109-A91830-00B
PowerColor CrossFire Bridge Interconnect Cable Model 109-A91830-00B

Pros: Simple design, function, flexible, and easy to install on the cards. This is a very simple bridge, you NEED it for SLI or CrossFire... Does the job.

Cons: I only wish that every graphics card that is designed to run in SLI or Crossfire modes would include these bridges STANDARD. Yes some companies do, but most don't. Kinda a no-brainer. Ah well, thats life.

Overall Review: None

Long Live AMD!

AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000 - Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 3.1 GHz Socket AM2 89W Processor - ADV6000DOBOX
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000 - Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 3.1 GHz Socket AM2 89W Processor - ADV6000DOBOX

Pros: FAST, FAST, FAST! Dual Core! Full 64 bit supprt! Stays cool with stock AMD Fan/Heatsink! Can play with it a good amount with AMD Overdrive STABLE AS A ROCK!

Cons: NONE

Overall Review: For me, upgrading to this CPU was a night and day event! I was still rolling old school with a Socket A AthlonXP 3000+ single core @2.1GHz / 333FSB! I decided to get with the program and gear up for the 64 bit future which is coming like a freight train! The only thing I miss is my old motherboard, an Abit NF7-S2G. You could not break that board if you tried! This is a great CPU! Paired it with a Sapphire PI-AM2RS780G micro-ATX. Runs great...for now. At some point down the road I will look into a MoBo with dual PCI-E slots for a full cross fire setup. Have always gone AMD since my very first build many moons ago. Always have, always will. AMD, you keep on doin what you doin! Intel, you can choke on it! LONG LIVE AMD!
