Pros: The red light works. All the time!
Cons: Nothing else works. Just the one red light. The slots are also so incredibly misaligned that you cannot get a compact flash card into it. Frustrating!
Overall Review: Definitely the worst product I have ever purchased from Newegg. By far! Since the red light works I know it is connected. tried different USB headers, all with the same results. Not worth sending it back as it was so cheap. I wonder what a ball peen hammer will do to it? Hmmmm.
2 Have Died Now
Pros: When it worked it seemed to bee a stable and decent enough motherboard.
Cons: My first one died after 2 days. I RMA'd it to Newegg (which cost me a few bucks) and then got a second one after a week and a half without a working computer in my home office. The second one worked for almost two months but just died. It was balky starting up for a day or two and then it suddenly went black and would not do anything.
Overall Review: I had always heard very good reports on ASUS motherboards and was eager to try this one for my new FX-8150. I have previously used Gigabyte motherboards and never had a problem. May have to go back to them. I am looking into doing an RMA with ASUS but do not have a serial number anymore as I no longer have the box. Hopefully I can find a work-around for that.
Part of it Kind of Works
Pros: Looks nice - This is a followup review to "I have no idea if it works!"
Cons: After 4 contacts with Rosewill support they finally sent a USB receiver, which was left out of the package. I do not know why they have phone support for those folks will do nothing but refer you to their e-mail support. Phone would not take a question. Once I finally received the USB receiver the keyboard worked but it does not find the mouse and thus it is non-functional. Keyboard is inconsistent also. At times the keys produce results diffeent from what you would expect.
Overall Review: Ready to gie up. If my initial multiple contacts with Rosewill tech support had not been so lousy I would try with the mouse but why bother? I have many Rosewill products, from graphics cards to cases to wired mice and they all work fine. This has been a disaster and a huge waste of money and time. Thank goodness it was cheap. I guess oen gets what one pays for. Off to a local store to get a new setup today as I really need the wireless with my desk setup.
No Idea If It Works
Pros: Looks nice
Cons: This item shipped without the USB connector. It fits into a slot under the keyboard for storage and was not there, nor was it in the packaging. Called Customer Service at Rosewill and was told to send an e-mail to their RMA place. That was 2 weeks and 5 days ago and no response yet.
Overall Review: Evidently Rosewill customer service dropped the ball on this. I have written 3 times and never had a response. I have used many of their other products and they were great. This has left me high and dry as my old mouse died and I scrounged up a crummy old mouse to get by. Thus, no recommendation either positive or negative.
