Overall Couldn't Be Happier

Pros: When I first saw this case it was love at first sight. I looked through almost all the cases Newegg had to offer and I kept coming back to this one. Throughout the build it has been a little bit of a love hate relationship because of the small form factor and some of the design choices used in the interior space, but after it was all said and done, I couldn’t be happier with the final result. There were definitely compromises I had to make from what I originally had in mind to complete the build, but in the end it was well worth it. The design and look is absolutely breathtaking in person. I watched a few reviews on Youtube and at times it was difficult to really understand their appreciation for the overall aesthetics and build quality. I can tell you first hand the brushed aluminum is gorgeous. It looks 100 times better in person. The case is extremely sturdy, well-constructed and impeccably engineered as a mostly functional work of art. A friend of mine that has been building computers for 5 plus years agrees he has never seen a case with such great build quality.
Cons: As much as I love the case there are some things I would change. The EZswap HDD bays may be convenient, but I don’t want to see those ugly black, yellow and red wires. I swapped mine out for all white Cablemod SATA connectors. The gap between the aluminum frame and the inner chassis is about an 1/8-1/4 inch which makes using the two holes for the USB 3.0, SATA, system power, etc and 24 PIN connector almost impossible to work with especially using more than 2 SATA connections. I think a case with this attention to detail and price range should consider individually braided cables for all that are included or at least cover all exposed wires. There are great braided cables that come with the case and are ruined by heat shrink tubing and exposed color wires. I would think people buying this case are going to put in the effort to make this build as slick as possible. My last complaint is that the interior, especially the HDD bay can very easily scratch. Nothing a little touch up paint can’t fix, but who wants to scratch such a nice case? And the two metal notches to pull the hard drives out rattle like crazy, so I just removed them, problem solved! Also, the back of the case could have really used a rethink on IN WIN’s part, but it can be removed so it is what it is.
Overall Review: This was my first mini-itx build (second ever computer build) and like another reviewer said if this is your first ever computer build it can definitely be a challenge. I would recommend that anyone building in this case to use a fully modular power supply and invest in individually braided cables for easier cable management. I chose to go with Cablemod. Expensive, but this is not a cheap case, and with glass on both sides this helps to keep things neat and tidy as well as keep the work of art intact. Also, depending on with holes you decide to run the cables through the individually braided cables are a must! I did make some PSU covers and added some IN WIN logos for a more customer look. I assume because most builds would take place in a mid-tower there is a lot of extra cable next to the power supply which look cluttered through the glass and this helps to keep the clean look as well. Spend a little extra money and make this case shine! It really is a great case if you are willing to put in the extra time and effort to make it work. I am sold on the IN WIN design and build quality! I will be building a computer for my dad in an 805 after the New Year and I just saw the new 909 and I think that will be my next case. I will do the build I would have done for this case if I had the room. I also like the improvements they made in functionality for a bigger case over some of their others currently available.
Almost Perfect But...

Pros: -Packaged extremely well -They look GREAT!! -Adds an extremely unique look to any build
Cons: Where these miss the mark for me is the overall fell and quality for the price you pay. They have a cheap and flimsy plastic feel to them. The black part that goes over the plasma tube seems like it could come off easily if mishandled and upon closer look doesn't seem to be very securely attached to any part of the heat spreader. **One of the RAM sticks suffered critical failure after about 2 weeks of ownership**
Overall Review: Considering you can buy other RAM like G. Skill for almost have the price with nice metal heat spreaders, the Avexir Raiden is kind of a disappointment. My last two builds were in an In Win 901 and 805 case which I paid a premium for, but the quality, look and feel of those products were worth every penny. I bought these sticks on sale and I am glad I did. I don't think it's worth the MSRP they are asking. Maybe they could have cut some costs with more basic packaging and put that extra money into a more quality product. With that said, they are very unique and that's what you are paying for. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I'm just glad it wasn't at full price. **Newegg customer service is always top notch and I was able to send the defective ones back for exchange for some new ones. I have owned several G. Skills sticks over the years without any failure, so quality concerns are a little suspect. Like I said before, they look cool, but wait until they go on sale. There's definitely better RAM out there. Gotta subtract 1 egg.**
Another Great Case From IN WIN

Pros: This is my second In Win case, my first being the mini-ITX 901. I LOVE THIS CASE! I kind of wish I did my build in this case, but the 805 was $200 and I got a really good deal on the 901 and I really liked the idea of the mini-ITX at the time. That being said, for a mid-tower the 805 isn’t overly big especially when compared to the 901 and I can respect that. Not everyone wants a huge case or needs one. The case is extremely beautiful and really nice to just sit and look at. The build quality is top notch, which is what I’ve come to expect from In Win. The internal layout is pretty well thought out and coming from a 901 cable management is an absolute breeze. The fan/radiator bracket in the front is very useful and I like the fact that the hard drive bay can be completely removed from the case if you don’t need it. I also like how there is a ridge on the bottom of the feet to hold the tempered glass panels in place while putting in the screws. You don’t have to worry about the glass slipping out of your hand and hitting the surface you are working on.
Cons: Although I like the smaller form factor I can see where it would be a problem for some especially if you decide to do water-cooling in certain configurations you may need to mod the case a little bit to get your desired result. As with the 901 the case comes with really nice braided cables from the front I/O panel, but at the ends of the HD Audio, power and LED cables, etc. the wires are exposed and for some reason are not all black which is annoying when trying to keep that clean look. I mounted the graphics card low to hide them the best I could, why aren’t they just black?
Overall Review: Building in this case was fun and I would definitely do it again. I would love to put a custom water-cooling loop and do a custom paint job as well to really make this case pop. My dad’s build came out awesome. I did a Notre Dame Fighting Irish theme green and gold and this case did not disappoint. The tinted glass really made the LED color scheme I used look great and really accented the internal components in the build. I do wish however, the In Win logo on the front lit up like the side panel and that the grill on the front allowed more light to pass through to see the LEDs colors inside the case. Another thing I wish In Win would consider is custom power supply covers as an option. I was fortunate even to have a local shop make custom cuts and do laser engraving for me. I would easily pay an extra $25-$75 bucks for a nice edge lit or LED In Win logo that fits the case perfectly. I always see cases come with power supplies, why not power supply covers. I say this because I like a clean look. I don’t want to see cables if I don’t have to. Sure I may be a bit obsessive, especially with cable management, but there is glass on both sides. If you don’t take the time to do proper cable management the end result can look like terrible. With this case you don’t have the luxury of just putting cables anywhere. I know NZXT does a great job with a panel covering the PSU in most of their cases. I think of In Win as the Bentley of computer cases, high price tag with exceptional quality and feel. People typically buying something with such a price tag would take pride in building a seemingly flawless system in every aspect. Professional PSU covers can turn your build into truly a work of art. Granted if I had my choice I’d have ALL cables made to length like I did for the GPU and 24 PIN in this build. I just think the overall end result looks better with PSU covers considering the case is primarily glass. Just my two cents.
Great SSD for the price point!!

Pros: -Much better casing and feel than my Samsung 850 EVO and looks nicer too! -Price point is incredible for the performance it delivers
Cons: My personal experience with Toshiba mechanical drives in the past with failure issues. Trion 150, don't let me down!!
Overall Review: I have a Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD in my personal rig and I am quite pleased with the OCZ Trion 150 I just bought for a friends computer. I was skeptical at first because they are owned by Toshiba and being around computers for quite a few years I've seen a fair share of Toshiba drives fail over others. That being said, I think they have created a real winner with Trion 150 and I just bought two more to run a RAID 0 array for a build I'm doing for my dad over the next few weeks. Price to performance I think this drive does a great job stacking up to the competition and just might be the best SSD for the money hands down especially when I've seen it on sale over the past few days.
