Great Card.

LSI LSI00138 PCI Express x8 SATA / SAS SAS3801E 8 Port 3G miniSAS
LSI LSI00138 PCI Express x8 SATA / SAS SAS3801E 8 Port 3G miniSAS

Pros: Quality LSI product with an stable CPU. I purchased this item to act as a controller for a Promise SAS SAN device. The unit has been in constant production for 6 months without a single "oops" or "Oh man"to speak of.

Cons: The only "con" that i have is that I wish that it would come with the external SFF-8088 cable, But I said that about the Promise product as well.

Awesome!

NETGEAR PTV2000-100NAS Push2TV HD-TV Adapter for Intel Wireless Display
NETGEAR PTV2000-100NAS Push2TV HD-TV Adapter for Intel Wireless Display

Pros: Ease of configuration. This device was instrumental in my quest against the "evil wire/spaghetti" condition. I am now able to push the HD display to an 80" plasma for for my company's boardroom.

Cons: Range is definitely a concern. The only thing that I would really want to improve would to allow the use to install an external antenna. I have found boosters and external antennas greatly improve performance on devices like this.

Overall Review: With my small footprint PC and wireless communication, I now have one wire extending from the case! The power is the only thing left! This device was great! Be sure you get the HD version and not the regular one if you plan on streaming Blu-Ray or a HD signal like Netflix.

Solid business class Motherboard

SUPERMICRO X7DBE-O Extended ATX Server Motherboard Dual LGA 771 Intel 5000P DDR2 667
SUPERMICRO X7DBE-O Extended ATX Server Motherboard Dual LGA 771 Intel 5000P DDR2 667

Pros: Solid, reliable, and durable. As usual Supermicro makes some of the most well-designed board available to the general public. The board is being used in a SAN controller role with 8 gig of ram and dual Xeon E5655 processors. The performance and data transfer rates are superb and have being proving to be a winning combination for the the mid to large business role.

Cons: Price ...but you get what you pay for....Not really a con but a comment.

Overall Review: I have been in the independent computer manufacturing field for around 10 years and have found that Supermicro is by far the best business class products available. Their support for their products after the sale will continue to keep me using their product for sometime.
