Beware, return won't be accepted if it's been used with the adapter.

Pros: High quality and quiet operation.
Cons: CPU and Motherboard Cables were too short to be used in an ATX case without extensions; could even be a pro, but not in my case (oh, a pun, nice). The paint is not resistant to scratches and came off easily during installation of the the adapter. Return team saw this and thought I tried to open the PSU itself. How that makes sense I don't know, but that's what they told me.
Overall Review: The mistake of ordering SFX was my own. I didn't know that was a thing when it was recommended to me by newegg while I was shopping. I found out after the fact but hoped it might be okay anyway. I used the ATX-SFX adapter it came with, but in the end I needed adapters for the CPU and Motherboard cables. I found a much cheaper ATX PSU and decided to return the SFX. There were some scratches on the panel where the adapter had been used but it was superficial. I had followed the instructions and installed it properly. The reason for my terrible review is because of what happened with Newegg. They rejected my return due to signs it "internal parts had been accessed." When I replied with questions and to see if I could escalate the return... I got an auto-response saying the escalation team was reviewing it AND another email simultaneously with a tracking number for the return. No discussion, didn't even give me a chance to change the address which at that point a month later I did want to do, nothing. I called to ask about it within 3 hours but at that point the return team had all gone. They were "so swamped with returns" that they had all left 45 minutes early apparently. The CSA apologized and said to try again tomorrow. Well, they can't do anything. I guess they really just don't do appeals or escalations. I will get it back at my old address and have to sell it myself. They offered that it is under warranty, and when I asked how that helps me she admitted she has no idea. Of course it doesn't help. The only problem with it is superficial scratches which aren't even visible after install. If a panel was "not flush" like they said it's because that's how it was made. In summary, the PSU is fine, it was my mistake ordering the wrong form factor. The only issue with the unit is maybe they didn't provide accurate schematics for the inspection team at newegg? Because they sure weaponized the heck out of their incompetence. I'm really angry. Who wants to buy an SFX PSU secondhand? Wish me luck trying to sell it myself.
