Pros: Quiet and works as intended. Besides initial hiccups with HDs no other issue.Works really nice with my portable monitor so I can take it as a backup for my laptop when traveling. Configuration: Mem G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 16GB (2 x 8G) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) Laptop Memory Model F3-1600C9D-16GRSL Samsung 850 Pro 512GB

Cons: Does not work with many HDs. I've tested with Muskin 120GB mSATA and Crucial MX100 and it did not work with neither. It seems to work with Samsung SSDs.

Overall Review: Even though box could be placed horizontally, follow manufacture's instructions and place it vertically since it dissipates heat that way much better. I even tried with the cooling pad underneath, but it did not cool it as well as wen it is position vertically

Good card, but ESX 5.1 sometimes crashes6/21/2013 6:10:44 AM

Pros: Advanced configuration options. Configurable over network. Works great with enterprise 10K and 15K disks. Removed 2 eggs for support

Cons: If combined different speed disks (15K or 10K with 7.2K) the card will not handle it well causing ESX 5.0 and 5.1 server to crash. Support is non-existent. US support is some guy in CA that might or might not answer your email and if he does it is usually "deal with it" type of answer. This card comes with low profile bracket and detachable network connector, BUT package does not contain separate bracket for network connector and cable that would connect connector and card. I sent an email to "US support" and i got an answer that areca does not manufacture cable and that i should create cable by myself. Several days later i got an email from some other company asking $40 for cable, but no network connector plate.

Overall Review: I have 5 Areca raid card and i'm thankful i do not need support yet since they they just work (except already mentioned issue with disk combination), otherwise i feel it would be nightmare dealing with support.

Pros: large size?

Cons: it is actually slow drive...reading is really slow. The biggest problem is that my os got corrupted in 1 day of use. interestingly i got first blue screen of death with my laptop after i installed this drive. simply not worth $300.

Overall Review: I hope to get my money back so i can buy something that really works

Pros: would not know since i could not install HD in the case

Cons: inner frame that hold HD has strange bracket that extends at the outside of the disk and yet case is very tight making it impossible to put it back in the case.

Pros: What else to say then moves air like nothing else out there. Cools everything amazingly. You just need this fan, since the vacuum it causes will move air through any tiny opening in the case

Overall Review: Does not snap in, but if you have additional sata drives connected laptop and card should not be moving anyways.

Comments: Using between RH7.3 and WinXP. It simply does not work with mouse. Tried with Microsoft and Logitech. Had to resort to two mice and one keyboard, since mouse would go wild. Display and keyboard work good.

Comments: I both 3 drives and had them now for about 7 months. I can now say that this drive is great. It is fast and stable. I use them in system for development and (knock on wood) I haven't had any problems.

Comments: I had this motherboard for about 7 months and I can now say that this motherboard is like a rock. I use it for development and (knock on wood) I have had not one glitch. I used memory that was recommended by SM and it is just stable system. Installation was simple and quick. Since I only do software development on this board, I can only highly recommend it for that purpose.

Comments: Bought this product based on previous good experience with Norton, but this is just nightmare. I cannot even start windows after I install it. I’ve been working with support (if you can call this support) for a month now and nothing. Product is useless. I have to say that support is horrable. Some guy in India that does not even read my e-mail, but just follows some procedure and keep sending links that I already tried and are useless. I do not about Mcafee, but Symantec is BIG bust. Do not waist your money on this product.
