Most Favorable Review

Cheap - but in a good way.

Link Depot 1394-6-6p4p 6 ft. 1394 Cable, 4 Pin to 6 Pin
Link Depot 1394-6-6p4p 6 ft. 1394 Cable, 4 Pin to 6 Pin

Pros: Does what it's supposed to do. Transfers video from my MiniDV cam to my laptop. And does so without issue.

Cons: None really....

Overall Review: Ordered this 6' one b/c the 3' was out of stock at the time. Will be ordering the 3' when it is available again to replace this one. Just too long but was needed ASAP.

Comfortable but Unreliable

Logitech VX Revolution Black 8 Buttons Tilt Wheel Cordless Laser Mouse
Logitech VX Revolution Black 8 Buttons Tilt Wheel Cordless Laser Mouse

Pros: Comfortable to hold and very nice when it works. Smooth, easy movement. Small dongle that fits inside the mouse - powers off when inserted to save battery life.

Cons: Similar complaints as others: tracking occasionally sucks. Randomly decides to barely respond. Clicking is a PITA when it decides to not work. I'm currently working on an RMA with Logitech b/c it decides to only registry 1 in 3 or 4 clicks whenever it feels like it.

Overall Review: Nice mouse if it were reliable and dependable. Just not there. :(

Better Speed, More Space

Transcend JetFlash 760 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model TS32GJF760
Transcend JetFlash 760 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model TS32GJF760

Pros: Compared against my older 8GB USB2.0 flash drive (forget the brand, has word off). Ended up being just about 2x faster read and write speeds. Tested with 6.7GB of data, same port, formatted before writing, etc, etc. Pretty pleased so far.

Cons: Casing seems a bit larger than some of my other drives. Not sure if that's a USB3.0 thing or just a Transcend thing. Not huge or anything, just slight longer and wider.

Overall Review: It's pretty early in the life of this drive - but at the very least I now have way more storage for a decent price and twice the speed.

Good Budget Card

XFX GeForce 9500 GT 512MB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Video Card PVT95GYAJ2
XFX GeForce 9500 GT 512MB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Video Card PVT95GYAJ2

Pros: Decent price. Good rating in Win7. Acceptable performance for the cost.

Cons: Makes a bit more noise than the 8600 GTS that it replaced - but not enough to knock off an egg. It is noticeable though.

Overall Review: Was having problems in Win7 with my 8600 GTS and running Aero - this card does not have those problems. Works perfectly. Just wanted something comparable to what I had but on a budget. This card is fine for that until I can get around to upgrading more of my system or replacing it.

Works with Samsung Plasma

Pros: Works with my Samsung PN50B860. Plugged into USB port and it detected and started working immediately in my TV. Connection works great on N network. Browsed my network and files from the TV with no issues, no connection problems.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Like many others, I purchased this as an alternative to Samsung's own Wireless USB Adapter (which is $80). As I said, this one works perfectly with my PN50B860 (which is very new) so it should work with just about any of the later series of Samsungs.

Fits in Camera, Holds Pictures

Crucial 4GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card Model CT4GBSDHC
Crucial 4GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card Model CT4GBSDHC

Pros: Well, considering it fits in the camera and stores pictures, I think those are the only Pros I need.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Great storage for the price.
