NZXT SWITCH 810 Gun-Metal CA-SW810-G1 Steel / Plastic ATX HYBRID Full Tower Gaming Computer Case
NZXT SWITCH 810 Gun-Metal CA-SW810-G1 Steel / Plastic ATX HYBRID Full Tower Gaming Computer Case

Pros: Lots of space Easy access Good wire management Filters an filters are easy to clean Study Will take an Extended ATX motherboard Great customer care. Hot swap bay

Cons: My wife and kids thought I went overboard, but they got over it.

Overall Review: The investment was a bit high but the return makes it worth the initial cost. I've got 3 radiators, 2 pumps, 10 fans, 1 large power supply, 2 video cards, all the plumbing, a sound card, a couple of add on cards. If it is in the case and it can be water cooled, then it is water cooled. I can still work on anything in the case without bumping or removing parts. Ok, so that's what I love about the case. Now, let me tell you about NZXT, the company. I needed to change the cooling water and while draining the system I laid the case on its back without removing the case side panel slide screws and snapped the plastic assembly. My heart fell and I felt stupid. After contacting NZXT, to my surprise, a new slide screw assembly set arrived in the mail. All I did was send an email. I've bought various cases over the years, just about every brand in the entire price range. Because of their act of kindness and good products, I'm sticking with NZXT. I've got NZXT fan controllers, card readers, cables, USB terminals ... and I have never had to return anything or found anything defective. This case is worth every penny.

Valet M10

Cisco Valet M10 802.11b/g/n Wireless HotSpot Router up to 300Mbps/ Easy setup by USB dongle inside
Cisco Valet M10 802.11b/g/n Wireless HotSpot Router up to 300Mbps/ Easy setup by USB dongle inside

Pros: If you like to spend alot of time resolving connection problems, this router is the one for you. I actually had to reconnect before I started "trying" to rate this paper weight.

Cons: I've been dealing with this hunk of garbage for over a year. Ordered a new router last night. If I bypass the router and plug directly from modem to PC I'm at 50+ mbps. Using Valet I'm at 4.9 mbps. Called Cisco and they told me that this was normal for all routers. They said that for $29.99 they would update the firmware which I've already updated to current version. Which leads me to ask, "why update the firmware if such incredible data speed loss is normal?". If the wired loss isn't bad enough, and the wireless drops aren't enough, then the terrible tech support should be enough to convince anybody to stay away from this product and this company.

Overall Review: I'm going to try to give this zero eggs. If you see an egg, I didn't want to!

ASUS RT-N66U

ASUS RT-N66U N900 Dual-Band WiFi Gigabit Router
ASUS RT-N66U N900 Dual-Band WiFi Gigabit Router

Pros: Really liked this router. Did not think I would need to upgrade for quite awhile.

Cons: Power switch failed after 3 years, 4 months. Kind of odd that it failed when I never use the switch.

Overall Review: Power button won't stay engaged. I'm using duct tape to keep it in. Must be a common failure, I read that jambing a toothpick also works.

All AMD Graphics Cards

VisionTek Radeon R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card 900672
VisionTek Radeon R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card 900672

Pros: I just want to pass on some information all buyers should be aware of AMD cards. First, users will experience tearing in eyefinity if all monitors are not connected to display ports. Secondly, eyefinity with crossfire will not improve graphic performance.

Cons: AMD knows about this.

Right angle USB Cable

C2G/Cables To Go 28110 2m USB 2.0 Right Angled A to B M/M
C2G/Cables To Go 28110 2m USB 2.0 Right Angled A to B M/M

Pros: Most USB printer cables hang straight down or stick straight out. This one angles 90 degrees allowing to put devices closer to each other, closer to the wall and are just less obtrusive.

Cons: I like the 90 degree end that attaches to the device, but the 90 degree end that attaches to the computer can cover other ports. That end should not be 90 degrees.

Overall Review: I'm thinking about buying a couple more of these.

Doesn't work (long)

Ceton InfiniTV 4 PCIe - Quad-tuner Card for Watching Digital Cable TV on the PC, PCI-Express x1 Interface
Ceton InfiniTV 4 PCIe - Quad-tuner Card for Watching Digital Cable TV on the PC, PCI-Express x1 Interface

Pros: Worked for about 1 month. I have a good system, i7, plenty of ram and a descent video card. No problems unless I put the Infini in the mix.

Cons: Took about 6 months to get it to work. Cablecards are very unreliable. TV signal has to be perfect. Wife and Kids hate it. Drops signal. No signal. Might record, some of the time. Crashes computer. Messes up Windows and forces us to do clean installs. Paid $300 for it. Then, they (support) lead you on a wild goose chase until they admit that it doesn't work on some computers. They'll insure you that this is very rare. After jumping through all of their hoops, and it still doesn't work, they'll send an email asking if they can end the complaint ticket wanting us to go away. The paper weight still wont work, they wont respond anymore, I am stuck with it. Don't believe anything they say. Don't believe the manufacturers reply. I have read most of the reviews, mainly looking for some solution, and I am almost ill from the advertisements and sugar coating they put on this paper weight. I'd almost give this to someone, just to get rid of it, but then I'd have to buy a new paper

Overall Review: Not everyone can afford a $300 paper weight.
