Overall Review: For users complaining bout Win 7 drivers if you have new/newer hardware you should not have a issue. It is far better at automatic driver install for hardware than XP was.

Cons: Received 2 bad units. I ordered the first. The build quality and packaging seemed nice for a lowerend PSU. It did not work and cycled between no video, distorted video (from on board graphics), and I got an error from the Mobo that a surge was detected form the PSU. I had Newegg send me a another one of the same model next day and it has the same issue.

Cons: -these are 5400 rpm drives but that doesn't matter to me to much because they are just used for storage

Overall Review: It does not come with a USB cable this is not a con for the just wanted to point it out. This does not have a battery some reviews are calling this negatives but I don't feel that is accurate as that is not only what this product is, but those are in a different price point.

Overall Review: If your looking for a 8 or 8.1 it might be a pain to upgrade yourself. This is a great laptop for the price. it is not perfect and a little on the slower side but I am rating it for what it is, and that is a sub $500 laptop.

Overall Review: Overall a very good value vs. more expensive laptops. This is a great entry level for more powerful gaming or photo/audio/video work. It does come with Windows 8.1 and you can run a start menu replacement if you do not like Windows 8.
