Doesn't Recognize Drives1/25/2016 2:05:56 PM

Pros: None

Cons: My Asus P6T motherboard recognizes the card, and the card initializes, but the card doesn't recognize the attached drives, which work fine when attached directly to the motherboard.

Overall Review: Perhaps I got a defective card, but it isn't worth the postage cost to send it back.

Pros: After solving the driver problems the card was working fine and fast when it worked.

Cons: Card no longer sees my drives no matter which of the two ports on the back are used. Even connecting my drives via a USB 3 hub does not help. Only solution is connecting my drives to a motherboard USB 2 port(s).

Overall Review: Unless Orico can solve my problem with a remote fix or send a new card I would not recommend this card. Should the problem be solved I will revise this review.

Cons: The card was supposed to handle port multiplier. Not so. Contacted Syba and their rep said that the MB needs that capability also. The specs do not indicate that fact. Wanted the poard to handle that problem since the esata ports on the MB do not handle that situation. Also the board only saw one of thetwo ports on my BlacX box.

However, the enclosrue you connected to this card might requires extra port multiplier functions which our card lakes. If your system can only see one port on our card, the card is not installed correctly (or, error free) Make sure the driver you installed matches the Windows version that you have. Before you contact us again, please do the following: 1. Find the web link to your enclosure and forward to our technical support 2. Give us the Windows version 3. Test the enclosure with just one HD in it 4. If there is a switch to turn on/off multiple HD, turn it to single HD mode. Make sure our card works with your enclosure in single HD mode 5.
