Pros: Went from Zalman 9500 to this and dropped my CPU idle temp almost 10 deg C. Installation is very simple. Compatible with many CPU types. Comes with a fan, which can be easily left out or replaced.

Cons: Huge - makes it difficult to reach connectors in the vicinity of the CPU (i.e. plugging in a power cable in the corner of the board). Must remove motherboard from case in order to install backplate.

Overall Review: It barely fits on my board (eVGA 680i). The fan assembly is resting on my northbridge heatsink. Plenty of room in my Cooler Master Cosmos case.
