Pros: Went together without a hitch, windows 7 already had the raid drivers so did not even need to load those on install. Nice looking board with plug locations that make sense.Bios was easy to understand and put up no fuss on install. So far i am pleased with this purchase.

Cons: The 6gb SATA controller does not seem to support Raid of any type, was not happy about that since i am using two SSD drives in Raid 0 and had hoped to use the new controller for my array, oh well. Northbridge chip runs a little warm, 125F under load in till i pointed a fan at it.They should offer a version with factory installed northbridge waterblock. Soundcard is another RealTek hohum product. Would of happily payed more for the Asus PCI-E Xonar to of been included.

Overall Review: Could not of gone together easier, default settings all seem pretty much what you would want them to be on first bootup. I am using 12gb of Dominator memory, part # TR3X6G1600C8D and a 960 Bloomfield CPU and both seem a good match for this board so far. Two thumbs up, thank You Asus and thank you Newegg.

Pros: I am sure its fast if it survives shipping

Cons: $600.00 CPU that is not even packaged as well as a stick of 2c gum would be. It was just sitting in a small plastic wrapper without even a cover over the CPU pins and tossed into the box with the rest of my items with nothing to keep the heavier stuff from beating up the CPU in shipping but some foam peanuts. This without question is the worst packaged item of this price i have ever seen in my life. With the super short return time on i now i have to race to get my computer built just to make sure this CPU is not dead from shipping damage. I am really upset with you guys.

Overall Review: I have done all my computer business with you for ten years now but if you ever send me another item that costs this much and is packaged this poorly i am going to take my business else where.

Pros: My Evga 980ti superclocked with this cooler idles at 29c and the highest i have seen is 62c. Reference cooler idled at 44c and would hit 80c and start causing thermal throttled in most modern games. I have the fans set to 1500rpm minimum and 3500rpm max and they are totally silent. Two thumbs up

Cons: install takes a little thought as their instructions are a bit vague since this fits on so many types of cards.

Overall Review: It is worth while to install the little alloy heat sinks they include but the included thermal glue means you are stuck with them once you do. 3M makes thermal tape if you want a less permanent solution, just be sure to use electric motor cleaner on a cotton swab to clean up your ram chips before applying the tape.

Pros: Push a lot of air without sounding like a leaf blower.

Cons: Do not get these for a "silent" build unless you plan to slow them down a bit, at the 1500rpm max speed the amount of air these push makes is gonna to make some noise.

Overall Review: Been using Noctua fans for years and have never had one let me down.

Pros: well balanced and easy to grip with useful software for a change

Cons: the middle wheel feels loose

Overall Review: got tired of my Corair M65 and wanted to try something new and so far i am happy with the G502

Pros: simply yet effective

Cons: being tethered is a pain when you are doing a full system build
