Overall Review: IMPORTANT NOTE: this is not clear from the photos or description--instead of a plug, the unit has slots through which you can plug in another device, so it comes between any other plug and the electric outlet, but YOU CAN'T PLUG IT IN ON ITS OWN. (I actually bought a $2 plug at a hardware store--the kind you would use to rewire a cord, and use it with that). This is likely to make it useless for travel use at 220v (unless you do what I described above) since you will not have the right plug on any foreign electric device to plug through it. Also, to use it anyplace you will need to unplug something and then plug it in again through the device. Probably best used at home if you will only want it someplace where you have something else plugged in anyway.
