Excellent Choice

Comments: This is a great display. Another painless NewEgg purchase! Check out cnet for a thorough review. Look for the previous generation (TH-50PHD7UK). Stand and speakers are not included but this is still a great deal. Also, plan on spending another $xxx for a plug in card if you want a pure digital input (like DVI or HDMI). AIT shipping took a little over 1 week (CA to NH). Their tracking system is useless (I am spoiled by FedEX and UPS) but they did get it to me in excellent condition. Bottom line with this display is that you pay for what you need and nothing more. The picture quality is unmatched. I built my own stand and use my stereo receiver for audio. Typically the speakers that come with TVs are not very good anyways so why pay for them? If you really want them, you can find the side-mount speakers to go with this for about $xxx and the stand for about $xxx. There are also several inexpensive wall-mounts out there. This is not cablecard ready so you will need a separate tuner, like a cable set top box. I got a digital box from Comcast and use the DVI output from the cablebox to the display. I use the built in component video to hook up my DVD and the composite video from my receiver to interface with an old VCR and PS2. Regular TV broadcasts are nothing special and in some cases look worse on a plasma of this size and quality but an HD broadcast, especially a sporting event, will make you drool. I had no idea what I was missing.
Died after 8 monthd

Pros: When it worked, it was great. Super fast.
Cons: Turned my laptop on today and the drive was dead. I confirmed by booting from a spare drive (laptop was fine) and then trying to connect the G.Skill SSD from an external USB enclosure. Nothing.
Never got it

Pros: None
Cons: I'd like to leave a review but it's been over 3 weeks and AIT (shipping company) has no idea where it is. Newegg advertised 5-7 business days. Horrible shipping company. Have called a few times. They just lie to get you off the phone.
Disappointing

Pros: Decent sound quality if you can get a good fit and your ear canals can tolerate the flanges.
Cons: Uncomfortable Too expensive for what you get Very stiff cord Don't confuse "Noise Isolation" with "Noise cancelling" - Noise isolation means you jam them so deep in your ear that other sounds can't possibly get through.
Overall Review: I tried really hard to like these things, but in the end, I was very disappointed. Perhaps if you have the right sized ear canal, they will work for you, but to get adequate bass, you really need to jam these deep in your ear. After 10 minutes, I found them very uncomfortable. None of the 3 included flange sizes worked for me. Sound quality is good but no better than the Sony MDR-EX71SLA earbuds which are a fraction of the price. I bought these to replace my sony's which have a well documented cord problem (the coating is a very fragile rubber which tears easily). The difference is that the sony's will give you the deep bass without having to perforate your ear drum with the flange.
Works Great

Comments: Plugged this into my wife's Dell Dimension 4100 and works fine. No drivers required under Windows XP SP2.
