Most Favorable Review

I Love this case...and my build.

Cooler Master HAF 922 - High Air Flow Mid Tower Computer Case with USB 3.0 and All-Black Interior
Cooler Master HAF 922 - High Air Flow Mid Tower Computer Case with USB 3.0 and All-Black Interior

Pros: -Wire management is amazing, and is worth spending time on especially on that first build(which this happens to be mine) -The case Keeps everything cool, runs quiet even with the fans on max. Ambient Temp is between 20C-28C and even while gaming heavily this thing helps keep the temps way down -Mostly tooless design, except for the VGA card slots, which is good since I hate tooless vga/graphics card bays. Not enough stability for the big cards IMO. -cooling expandability -Did I mention the cable management? -Looks really cool -Mesh -Size is big, but I like that made it a breeze to work in with by big hands -Built like a tank, this thing won't go anywhere once you get some stuff in it -Installation was a (long)walk in the park for this first time builder -Came in perfect condition from UPS, not a ding or scratch on the box or on the actual case. -All parts arrived on the same day, only took two days to get here. Impressive. Most Impressive.

Cons: -Red led doesn't work on front 140mm fan, but fan works fine so I am happy. Kinda a bummer the led doesn't work though... -Several of the 4 pin molex connector pins on the molex connectors were messed up so I plugged all the fans into the motherboards chassis fan controllers. Works great, but could be a problem for others -Doesn't cook me dinner

Overall Review: I received the parts on Friday at 3:00, took about 20-30 minutes to unbox the everything, About 40 minutes installing the cpu cooler, then about 45 minutes of prepwork and reading and benchtesting the primary components(cpu,gpu,Mobo,DDR3, psu) outside of the case. Then once post completed, I just dropped everything in the case, installed stuff(took about 30 minutes), cable managed until perfection for about 2 1/2-3 hours, ate dinner while Win7 installed and updated, installed drivers, installed important apps, install games and music. Done. Took about: 3.5-5 hours to complete and get up and running. System seems completely rockstable but only time will tell... and to say it's fast would be a gross understatement Specs: EVGA GTX 580 @ stock CM HAF 922 CM Hyper 212+ cpu cooler Asus combo multi format Dvd burner WD Caviar Blue 500GB sata III 6.0gb/s HD Corsair 650TX V2 PSU ASrock P67 Pro3 LGA 1155 Mobo Intel Core i5 2500k @ stock Microsoft SideWinder X4 Keyboard Raz

Wow, so fast

Pros: All I can say is that going from old dual core AMD architecture, and outdated laptop cpu architecture has me kicking myself for not upgrading sooner. The difference in processing power is staggering to say the absolute least. This thing just eats games and programs alive! Go quadcore! Woo! The last intel I had was a single core celeron from waaaay back. This is my first quad and BOY what a DIFFERENCE!

Cons: -None so far, except it doesn't cook dinner

Overall Review: I was going to go with a phenom II but now I'm glad I paid a little extra for intel, my buddys phenom II 965 system doesn't feel nearly as responsive but that could be due to anything. That said, the benchmarks don't lie and my own experience wiped away my doubts(without taking too much more out of my mouth and wallet...my poor, poor wallet). I have a tendency to side with whoever gets me the best performance per dollar, so far it's(surprisingly) Intel's sandybridge this time and it really makes it hard to recommend the Phenom II's over this thing. It simply crushes!

WOW

EVGA GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 1536MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 015-P3-1580-AR

Pros: First of all, this is my first true gaming PC(which was something I thought I'd never have) and all I can say is...WOW! I just dropped a hydrogen bomb on all my games! No more sub-par visuals and framerates for me! This thing just tears through everything I've thrown at it. -Plays all my games at max so far(1080P, 25'' HP 2509b), even Crysis, most games are between 40-60+(usually 80+) frames. I also play a lot of Total War and currently own(and play) all the titles minus Medieval II and The original Shogun. Shogun II(DX11), Empire, and Napoleon play beautifully with everything maxed. Source games usually in the 300+ fps range, maxed. -Sound isn't really an issue, even with headphones off I really don't notice even with the fan on %70. -Idle: 28-32C fan @ 40-50% Load: highest temps were 70-83C playing STALKER:SOC w/ fan @ 60-65% Average seems to be around 65-75C @ 65%. Not bad at all. -Wasn't DOA, or glitchy -Lifetime warranty + Step up -Not power hungry -blows hot ai

Cons: -Haven't tried OCing, then again why bother? Currently there is nothing that truely crushes this gpu, hell even Metro runs really awesome with most of the settings cranked. -While not power hungry, does require a good PSU, at LEAST a decent to really good 650w. Currently running this, an core i5 2500k @ stock, about 5 fans, a disc drive, hard drive and my system is rock stable with room to breathe for Overclocking. Even with moderate to heavy OCing, the whole system will pull a total 500W max. I have a Corsair 650TX V2, an excellent PSU. -Heat can be an issue if your case doesn't have good airflow, but if it has even decent airflow this card should do fine. That said, this thing was made for Large midtowers and Full towers with good airflow.

Overall Review: Make sure to register your card within 30 days of purchase for the lifetime warranty. I registered mine yesterday. This was also my first build, my first intel processor, and my first Nvidia. All I can say is...Goodbye team red! Hello team green! Pretty painless and took less than a minute out of my day. Pros: -Rock stable so far -Booted right up the first time -Detected everything -Great placement of all the ports and slots, great layout -Good manual -Kinda pretty -Uefi Bios -runs cool in my case -Nice solid, weighty feel

Cons: -Wasn't free

Overall Review: This motherboard is excellent so far, and detected all my new parts right away. Fits perfectly into my Cooler Master HAF 922 and the layout is great. I chose this over the extreme4 because A) I don't plan on CF/SLI and B) I wanted to save some cash. So far, it seems everybit as good as the Extreme4 minus a couple negligible features if you don't need them. Plenty of OC features in the Bios as well. And I'm loving my new PC!
