Pros: It works well. Comes with necessary cable and insuctions and case. Installed new notebook drive in it and did a sector disk copy from old drive. Took a while - because of the software used, not because of this drive - and it worked out fine.
Cons: No protective plastic included between bottom of drive and metal case - but did not create any problems. Just seems like this would be useful precaution
Overall Review: Nice to have the metal case - serves as a heat sink for the hdrive heating up on long copies.
Not to same specs as listed
Pros: Priced well. Quality good
Cons: The spec shown on the unit label shows it is 18.5 volts, not 19.0 as quoted in the sales Details.
Overall Review: I was actually searching for a 2nd P.S. for my Samsung laptop, whose current P.S. shows it as 19.0 VDC, 4.74A - exactly the same specs as the Details listed. I was hoping the laptop connector would be the same - but it's different as well. Now I'm stuck with a non-usable P.S. because of incorrect product listing.
Pros: * Great range - get full strength throughout my house * Worked well right out of the box with default setups * Multiple set-up options * Fast
Cons: * Default set-up is not secure. As soon as you power it up it is open to the world * Hard to find where to set wireless log-in password - because they don't call it a password for some reason. * Almost too many set-up options- a lot of choices and they could use more explanation of what these do and what the best defaults are - and why.
Overall Review: Once I spent some time ( a lot of time) going through all the setups, researching all the different acronyms, etc, and finally securing the wireless this router is working great. Very happy with it.
Good Micro Board
Pros: Well made board, with all metal caps. Everything went together easily and booted up with no issues or problems. Using on-board video (for cost savings) so I do not need a video card. For surfing, email and general home office work with MS Office and typical productivity programs - it works just fine. With latest BIOS update it will also run an AM3 CPU as well.
Cons: A few $$ more than maybe it should be, given that this is an older board, but it is in line with the competition. Older chipsets. On-board video uses some of your installed RAM. Also, HD3200 is not the fastest in the world, so don't plan on using this set-up for gaming. For that you will need to add a video card, but given that this is a micro board just watch the size.
Overall Review: Overall - pleased with this board and setup. Works well for my needs as a 3rd home PC. Built with Windows 7 Home Premium, 2GB DDR2 800 RAM and AMD Athlon X2 BE-2300 Brisbane 1.9GHz processor. (extra which I had laying around - but it works extremely well)
