Pros: Looks great in my case. Solid overclocker. Posted the first try.
Cons: Vcore is a little messy. If in "dynamic mode", the bios setting is always .05 higher than it says (1.25=1.30). If in 'fixed mode', it doesnt try at all and just shoots vcore as high as 1.5v. The only software that can monitor board voltages and some temperatures is the HWMonitor that's included on the driver disk. Major annoyance.
Overall Review: Other than the quirks of the volts, I feel a made a sound purchase.
Pros: Shiny.
Cons: 1st pair runs at 1066 5-5-5-18. 2nd pair DOA and RMA'd. 3rd pair won't run at 1066 speed AT ALL.
Overall Review: However, the 3rd pair will run at DDR2-800 with 4-4-4-12 timings. And in my opinion, that's just as good as 1066 5-5-5-18.
Pros: Keeps my C2D 6c cooler than the stock hs/f
Cons: the screws for the lga775 socket are much smaller than the holes on the motherboard for the stock heatsink. I had to find some really little nuts and washers and take the motherboard out just to install the foundation.
Pros: Installed with Vista without a hitch. Great features.
Cons: None really
Overall Review: I use a wireless USB mouse. I don't know if this is normal, but whenever I bump the mouse while the computer is off, the computer kicks on. I saw nothing relevant to this in the bios. This never happened on my older computer that I also used this mouse on. Not really a problem, just odd.
Pros: Installed easily in my case. Has same shade black faceplate as my tower. Faster file transfer than my SD to USB dongle. Works great in Vista, no BSOD... yet
Cons: SD and MicroSD/Transflash Cards require a little more force than I'm comfortable with to put in.
Excellent
Pros: Burned a 4.7gb dvd with Nero in just under 5 mins at 16x. SATA. Gotta love SATA. Came with molex-to-SATA power adapter.
Cons: Even though it doesn't say that a sata cord is included, it still kindof sucks that one isn't.
Overall Review: Replaced a samsung dvd-ram ide drive of exact specs that bunked out after 4 months
