Most Critical Review

1/2 Sticks was defective

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-4GBNT
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-4GBNT

Pros: a 1/2 Sticks in the Kit actually worked fine.

Cons: The First Bad RAM Occurrence I had in about 10 Years... Seemingly-Random Software Errors & Crashes led me to initiate a round of checking : After I verified that it wasn't a CPU-related instability, I went on to test the RAM subsystem (which I actually pre-tested earlier for ~5 Hours with Memtest86+ - but without getting any error notification). After ~1 Hour of testing, this time using HCI Design's MemTest64 Deluxe v4.0 & Some RAM-intensive Applications (e.g. : GNU GCC, while compiling a copy of itself), I narrowed it down to a single defective stick, so I RMA'd the whole kit (G.Skill Taiwan won't accept a partial kit returned for RMA - as a policy, unlike G.Skill USA - to whom one may return just the positively defective parts for RMA).

Overall Review: PSU : Enermax PRO82+ 525W Mainboard : EVGA P55 Micro (E652) CPU : Intel Core i5 #750 CPU Cooler : Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus (one of the trickiest to install that I ever had to install) RAM : 2x G.Skill DDR3 2GB 1333MHz CL9
