BUY THIS!
Pros: 7 feet long! Never had any problems. ONLY 5 DOLLARS!
Cons: It's plain black. But really, who cares?
Overall Review: When I got my TV, I bought 4' HDMI cables from best buy (with every intention of returning them) for $70 each. In 15 minutes I saved $65 by switching to Newegg.
Do not buy!
Pros: I have a non-functional $12 USB-powered green light device.
Cons: Doesn't work - xbox controller won't connect. I've spent hours and have tried every suggestion I can find on the internet. I've tried all three versions of the driver for the wireless receiver from Microsoft. I've tried using the front and rear USB ports with no luck. I've even tried a powered USB hub with nothing else plugged in to it and it still doesn't work. The green light on the reciever does come on when I plug it in and it does blink when I press the button on it. However, the xbox 360 controller won't ever connect to it. I've tried every combination of button presses possible. Nothing works. Note that this is NOT a Microsoft product! It's a knockoff from China. Save yourself the trouble and buy a controller made for PC. Don't waste your money on this.
Overall Review: I've tried this with one computer and one black xbox 360 controller and it doesn't work. Maybe it would work with a different computer or different controller. Who knows. But if it doesn't work with any windows computer with any xbox 360 controller, what's the point?
Good cable
Pros: Good priced cable. The build quality seems solid. Length is as advertised. Works perfectly with my Dell laptop dock and 27" Dell monitor to push 2560x1440 resolution.
Cons: none.
Overall Review: The cable is a lot thicker than I expected. It's a little on the stiff side. Not a problem, but it may not bend into the tightest of nooks and crannies. Fits perfectly for me though.
Hmm???
Pros: Sleek black.
Cons: Made in China.
Overall Review: This thing was added to my cart for free when I bought something. I don't know which item it was though since I purchased parts for an entire computer... I don't need this since my PSU has molex plugs...
Decent case
Pros: - Easy to mount devices - Nice looking case - Good instruction manuals (not that they're really needed, but it explains in detail the pinouts for the front wiring) - Sturdy case frame (not siding)
Cons: - External sides and top are a little thin an flimsy. While they look nice, don't expect them to hold up to much damage. They're a little thinner than I would like, but you can't tell until you touch it. not a huge con, but for $70, I expected more substantial siding.
Overall Review: This is one of the few cases that looks nice and performs well while not looking like it's for a 15 year old gamer. I'm happy with my purchase here.
Great buy!
Pros: Nice dayglow backlight. Display is very organized and easy to read. It's not confusing at all. The buttons are rubbery and feel good when you press them. Very easy to program and set. Pretty well built, it doesn't feel cheap.
Cons: When the backlight is on, it makes a high pitched screech. It's the same sound that cheap TVs and other electronics make. It's not too big of a problem since it goes away as soon as the backlight turns off. You *must* set 4 programs per day. I only wanted two, so I just set the two i didn't need the same as the second program.
Overall Review: The wire label codes on this unit weren't the same as the existing unit. The install guide helped match them up, but it only covered 4/6 wires that were connected to the old unit. I made my best guess and the A/C works. Hopefully the heat will work once it gets cold. :)
