SILVERSTONE Black Aluminum front door and plastic front panel, 0.8mm SECC body Grandia Series GD06B ATX Media Center / HTPC Case

Pros: well-built & mostly well-designed case that fits all the gear (especially given its dimensions). With fans connected to molex, the noise isn't bad in my opinion. By comparison, it's a little quieter than my xbox360. the shorter depth compared to similar cases is nice and easily fits in my media stand. The stock heatsink on my i5-2300 and stock fans do a good job of cooling with this case. Has a lot of room to fit a graphics card. I went with the nvidia GT430 to save space, but it could easily hold a larger card.

Cons: I agree with others that the internal cables are absurdly long and get in the way for cable management. The 4 available 3.5" internal drives were appealing to me when purchasing, but - the 4th would actually be mounted underneath the 5.25" drive tray. This should prove tricky with the amount of cables that are in that space.

Overall Review: This is a nice case overall. To help cable management, I would definitely recommend the following (or something similar). They're working well for me: - SILVERSTONE Strider Plus ST50F-P 500W ATX modular PS - Silverstone Short Cable Set PP05 The short cables especially simplify things. Note that you have to install this PSU upside down (fan-side up) to fit with the internal HD case.
