Great Card For The Price

Pros: Inexpensive, and has a relatively current SATAII chip
Cons: Very poor documentation, and the manufacturers website is even worse.
Overall Review: Others have mentioned flashing to the current SIL 3132 BIOS from Silicon Image website. This is a good thing, however, if like me your motherboard (DFI NF4) will not allow you to flash in DOS ( I booted from a DOS disk, and ran the Updflash, but the utility could not find the card for some reason), the next best thing is to do it in Windows. If you have a current Windows install, simply install the card, boot to Windows, and when prompted install the correct SIL 3132 driver. After that's completed, go to Device Manager/SCSI and RAID, then double click on the Silicon Image device. You will see a tab for BIOS flashing. Just load the newer BIOS file you downloaded fron Silicon Image, and flash it from there.
Dismal

Pros: It has pretty lights. It hasn't exploded......yet
Cons: First off, not a n00b, read the installation instructions thoroughly. This unit replaced a Netgear Gigabit Router. Worked fine 1st day, 2nd day began to slow down gradually to a crawl, then no throughput at all. Unplugged it, let it rest for 10 sec, reconnected, everything came back. 3rd day same thing, slow down, followed by loss of throughput. Downloaded and installed the new firmware, and after rebooting seemed fine. Couple days later same problems as before, but now the added joy of complete dropout of the entire router. My little network icons turn to red X then attempt to find the router, and eventually do. I've taken to resetting the router every morning now to ensure it works most of the day
Lots of storage spage

Pros: Very quiet, with decent transfer speeds.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Lots of storage space for very little money. Beefed up my HTPC storage, and I'll be picking up a few more as needed.
Great for what it does

Pros: Added three drive slots to my tool-less case. Much better than the clunky 3.5" to 5 " drive adapters
Cons: None
Overall Review: Fan was not required, since my case is under a slight negative pressure. Others have complained about the quality of the front drop down door. It's plastic, people! Go easy with it and you'll have no problems.
So Far So Good

Pros: Very fast, and quite a bit snappier than the OCZ Vertex it replaced. Mine came with the new Firmware, and so far have not had any of the problems noted by others.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: My system consists of a Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P, Phenom II x6, and 4 Gigs of RAM. In two years I went through 4 OCZ Vertex drives, the original, plus 3 warranty replacements. When this last one began failing I figured it was time to switch to another Vendor. Hopefully this ADATA will have a longer life span.
What A Board!

Pros: Setup was a breeze. Once the BIOS were flashed, my PII X2 550 unlocked and the rest is history.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Quality parts all around. CPU cooler mount has a real metal backplate.
