Awesome monitor...especially for the price

ASUS VH226H Black 21.5" HDMI Widescreen 16:9 Full HD 1080P LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 12000:1 (1000:1) Built in Speakers
ASUS VH226H Black 21.5" HDMI Widescreen 16:9 Full HD 1080P LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 12000:1 (1000:1) Built in Speakers

Pros: Huge screen, 1920 x 1080 resolution, simple design and assembly, lots of input options (VGA, DVI, HDMI), haven't had to mess with the settings yet, no dead pixels! Tried the monitor out on my new system with my first game (Crysis) and I couldn't be happier. I didn't notice any ghosting, and there was only minimal choppiness when the action got heavy (could just be the video card trying to keep up). I haven't had a chance to test out the HD yet, but I'm sure it's impressive.

Cons: The monitor can only be adjusted for tilt (no height adjustment), so be sure you are comfortable with your possible viewing angles. Also, like any monitor featuring a glossy black finish, this sucker is a dust and fingerprint magnet. When the monitor ships, there is a layer of thin film covering the most susceptible areas. I recommend leaving that film on as long as possible. Like many monitors, this one comes with just about everything you need except an HDMI cable.

Overall Review: This monitor is wide enough that you can easily shrink your windows in order to fit two different windows on one. However, due to my work needs (and the excellent price), I bought two of them. They were surprisingly easy to set up in extended desktop. Lastly, unless you don't have any computer speakers, I recommend leaving the audio cables in the box and hooking up external speakers to your sound card. I'm sure the built-in speakers work fine if you're not big on audio quality (or you're short on desktop space), but they are rated at 2 watts RMS each. You do the math.
