Gets the job done

Pros: Installs easily. Looks nice. All ports work. USB works with 95% of my devices.
Cons: It is not a big deal, but for some reason the USB port accepts everything I plug into it with the exception of external HDDs. Windows recognizes the drive on all other USB ports, but when connected to card reader USB port it is not detected. Flash drives, peripherals, etc. all work fine. It doesn't make sense to me, but again, I have enough USB ports that it makes no difference. Definately not a deal breaker.
Overall Review: I installed this thing and it worked right off the bat. Not a bad deal at all. Minus one egg only because of the weird HDD issue. My first ever skirmish with Newegg came from the ordering of this device. It is considered "light weight" and therefor shipped via DHL, which ultimately ends up going through US mail. Shipping in this manner is worse than sluggish. This apparently is a new practice at Newegg and was not made clear at the time of my order. Now that I understand, I will take it into consideration in the future. The rep could have been a little more tactful is the way she addressed me, though. I won't go any further into that here... Typically, shipping is exceptional with Newegg. I've never had a negative CS experience with Newegg in the 12 years I have been ordering from them until now, and hopefully this one was just one of those things and not a sign of things to come. Everyone is allowed one strike I suppose...
DOA and past return period.

Cons: I was hesitant to buy a refurbished board and I should have followed my instincts. The system won’t POST. Went through routine troubleshooting and found it was the board. It reports a DRAM error, but the RAM is confirmed good. Also tried other single sticks to no avail. To make matters worse, I was not able to get the build completed prior to the end of the return period for various reasons, so now I may be stuck. I was afraid of straying from my usual online retailer for this reason. Again, should have followed my instincts.
Overall Review: The board is probably great if it worked, but it was DOA. Lesson learned for buying refurbished. Also learned a lesson for buying with such a short return window.
LOUSY SERVICE, but nice case

Pros: The case has plenty of space to work with, fits large video cards without a problem, lots of fans; it really is a nice looking case.
Cons: As nice as it may be, I need parts for it. Parts which any good case should include. 5.25" to 3.5" external bay converters for card readers really need to be standard as with most good cases. Is it a big deal to pay the $4 or so to buy these parts? No, absolutely not. Unfortunately, they have not been available at the CM Store and there is no indication as to when they may actually come available. Support is non-existant. If someone ever does respond, it breif, blunt, generic and uniformative. When you complain to a higher authority, it gets bumped back down to the original CS person who then respondes in a rude manner. This is unacceptable.
Overall Review: Cooler Master, guess what? You need a better model for handling customers. Dumping a product on them and then abandoning the customer when they have concerns is a flawed business model. While I truly do like the case, and I have always used CM cases, the truly poor customer service and resulting gaping hole in the front of my case while I wait cluelessly for parts which may never arrive, has forced me to another vendor. There are plenty of other manufacturers out there who have a more customer-friendly model which will earn my business. And I will share this info with any and everyone I can going forward.
Great bang for the buck

Pros: It runs everything I throw at it on max settings. Grant it, I run 1920x1080 due to having a 1080p monitor, so higher resolutions will suffer frame rate but for me this is no issue.
Cons: I bought two of these cards plus two EVGA mobos in the past two months. The most recent GTX460 was two days prior to the Meto 2033 offer!! Come on EVGA, I bought a lot of your stuff, hook me up with a download!
Overall Review: The performance boots BIOS upgrade was cool.
Good Case - Make SURE you know it is the BASIC!

Pros: Plenty of space for latest VGA cards, PSUs, etc. Well laid out. No sharp edges. Black painted inside is nice. More places for fans than is even necessary. Water cooling ready. The case really is good, just be sure you know what you are getting - the basic, not the advanced. I docked two eggs for marketing and customer service - see below.
Cons: Not only does it not come with a front 5.25 to 3.5" bay adapter and respective trim bezel (as most good cases do), it really is not clear to me that it does not come with this basic item. I consider this a good case, but come on Cooler Master! A bay adapter goes for about 3 bucks at the local computer shack, and I imagine the trim bezel is not much more. This should be included in any modern case as most users are going to install a card reader. CM store does not have service parts proliferated!! They can build the cases, but can't seem to get a supply of parts on hand for separate purchase. Bad, bad, bad. More on this below...
Overall Review: I bought two CM690II cases within about a month of each other. I actually did not realize that there was an "Advanced" and a "Basic" available. The second one I bought, this one, turned out to be a Basic. Is it my fault for not realizing there are two versions? Sure it is. Is it really that obvious without thoroughly going over the details? Not really. The two are very similar and at first glance they really are not distinguished very well. It was not a big deal as most of the "Advanced" features are gee-wiz items that I really wouldn't use anyway except for the above mentioned drive bay adapter which seems standard on many good cases these days. CM customer support is non-responsive. I had to submit an eRMA to get any attention, and voluntueered to pay for these parts even thought I think CM should send them out of good will since I bought two cases. The response is they are available through the CM store but out of stock. Keep checking back for availability. Nice.
Perfect PSU

Pros: I used this as a replacement fan in a PSU powering an old Dell that I keep running 24/7 as a Linux based server. It fit fine and gets the job done.
Cons: It was slightly noisey at 12V. Blade pass noise was amplified by the mesh as the PSU air outlet and created a high pitch tonal noise that was irritating. Changing the molex pin-out to achieve 7V quieted it right down and I am happy. Still plenty of performance for my need.
Overall Review: A bit of trouble with Newegg customer service regarding getting my order shipped out. This is the second problem in less than a year and I am long, long time customer. I hope this is not the begining of a trend...
