Never the prettiest girl on the block

Pros: Price... Price ... Price... hear that Plextor, TDK, and HP.
Cons: Sure as the other reviewers said Lightscribe is slow but it's slow on an HP $150 DVD burner as well...
Overall Review: Lite-on hardly ever makes it to the "KickA**" or Five Star review selections, they may be the wallflower at the dance but they make one heck of a good product. I have own six brands of DVD/CD burners of them only Sony & Lite-on never failed. When you consider as well price/performance ratio Lite-on becomes the girl you take home.
Doesn't fit!

Pros: Solid design.
Cons: BUT, that being said I found it did not fit a EVGA 780i nForce SLI Mobo no way, shape or form. :(
Overall Review: But having used Zalman before I will save this baby for my next project.
Not the speed I expected

Pros: Ease of install, It ate Windows 7x64 up. I created two partitions the first for OS of 40Gb the second for the latest mega games like Black Ops and Stream with the rest. So far blazing load times although I have encountered a slight blink in Dawn of War which maybe the games fault. Also using OCZ Black Edition AMD RAM. I have gotten two BSOD's in this build but cannot say the SSD or RAM caused it. The PC cranked back up fine with no problems. The boot time are impressive as well as shutdown when no Windows Update is involved. I hate the constant updates of both software and hardware. Hackers caused all this stuff so let make their crimes punishable by death. Maybe that will stop the little freaks. xCUS the rant. I have found that having as much matched equipment in a build alleviates these issues like some are talking about I have OCZ RAM and SSD. MSI 870a MoBo with two MSI Frozn II 6870 video cards. So far no shutdowns with the SSD as proven guilty party.
Cons: I would be interested in other users Windows Experience Rating. Mine was 7.2 with this drive "as is" with no modifications. This was disappointing because the CPU and graphics cards pegged out at 7.9 (OC'ed) and 7.9 (OC'ed) respectively. Because Microsoft uses the lowest score as your overall score mine was 7.2. That blows! I didn't expect any drive to peg the WER but I expected better than 7.2. I wish the OCZ would tell me what their experience have been. Why Microsoft uses the lowest number as the overall baffles me. I think it should be averaged between the other scores Mine would be 7.6 at least. But I nitpick I guess.
Overall Review: I do not see why the price is so high on SSD's. They would seem to be easy to manufacturer with practically no moving parts. There is a lot of competition out there. So guys give us a break!!! To date I still do not use SSD's in client builds unless they are requested. But if this OCZ keeps doing good and prices go down more then I may be changing my policy. And if OCZ is monitoring this review Newegg makes you guys look SOOOO good with their blazing delivery times and I found their RMA service to be Championship. OCZ if you offer a rebate: HONOR THE THING!!! I have banned buying PnY products for broken rebate offers. If you do me bad I will NEVER buy YOUR product again! That's a fact Jack.
Fast but slower than thought Win Experience Rating

Pros: Never go back to a spin drive for boot. From power button push to useable desktop 25 seconds Win 7 Ultimate x64. But while the AMD Phenom II x6 gets 7.8 and the ATI R6870's peg at 7.9 the SSD drags in a 7.2 which admittedly is a heck of a lot faster than the 6.0 Raptor I ran b4. Of course Microsoft takes the lowest score and THAT is your Rating... GO FIGURE maybe I just had a bad math teacher who taught me how to average. Trying to figure out why some are getting higher scores, hmmmmm..... maybe I will check the trim...
Cons: Disappointing experience score doesn't match the speed difference from using a spin drive. This drive is crazy fast though and as prices come down new bars will be raised. The competition makes for better products and lower prices; let's hope the government does not do something stupid to mess that up.
Overall Review: Picture yourself in a boat on a river, With tangerine trees and marmalade skies. Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly, A girl with kaleidoscope eyes.......
Excellent choice for AM3 MoBo's

Pros: Easy to overclock & and a great partner to my Black Edition AMD 1090T. I didn't have to run extra fans for theses modules. I installed an Corsair H-70 and set the fans as intakes. This blows sufficient cool air across the the RAM.
Cons: None at present. Everything worked for good oobe.
Overall Review: With Newegg's crazy fast service getting these in time for a build was impressive as always.
Hope this isn't a trend!

Pros: None
Cons: If you order a monitor and the heavy handed goons at UPS damage your order, there isn't an RMA issued it's a shipping damage claim. This means you could wait 5-7 days to get any resolution. Longer if they decide to hold up or deny your claim.
Overall Review: The only other time I remember RMA'ing something New egg sent the replacement that day. This wasn't a damaged item but the wrong item sent. Also note that the monitor was sent from New Jersey, a transcontinental flight in my event in the flimsy original product box without an outer box or packing. Ordinarily Newegg is tops but their policy here can only be called poor customer service. I'm lucky that my other monitors ordered through Newegg got here ok. This will make me think twice before ordering another screen from Newegg in the future.
